On 7/7/2023, my partner paid this business $225 to remove weeds from our backyard. He opened the back gate in the morning to allow them to enter the property and received a text around 11 AM that the service was completed. Evan paid him the remaining amount (deposit paid earlier) upon receiving the text. When he went to check on the backyard around 11:30 AM, he found that a rock had hit the sliding glass door on the patio and the glass was completely shattered. Raoul, the owner, did not alert us of this damage and when it was brought up, claimed that the glass was already damaged. This morning the glass was not shattered and then at 11:30 AM it was discovered to be broken. The picture included is of the shattered glass door.Business response

I communicated with customer and he was not able to prove to me that we caused the damage. I specifically told him that I would refund him if he was able to prove it to me with a videotimeline and he refused to do so. He simply sent screenshots of a camera which do not replicate the timeline. Providing that he claimed to have a camera facing that direction and he was not cooperative, this seemed suspicious and communication was stopped by him.
