On May 31, 2024, I purchased some items the AutoZone located at ***** ** **** **** **** ** ******* *** The sore clerk (older gentlemen) made an unwelcome comment during my checkout process in front of another AutoZone employee. "We will have to get this ugly man a discount." Suddenly the store clerk applied my military discount on the charge. Please see the attached document (receipt). Your assistance to address this issue is deeply appreciated. Desired outcome store credit on my Rewards Balance for the despairing remarks that was unprofessional by store clerk at AutoZone. I purchased a battery at this location on approximately 19 Sept 2023 and installed it in my vehicle. At the time of purchase, I was informed that there was a warranty on the battery, but not provided with a terms and conditions details. The battery failed the next day and would not accept a charge. When I attempted to exchange the battery at the store, the company representative informed me that as I mentioned in passing that the battery was installed in a vehicle other than the one in their records, they would not honor the warranty. This omits many of the details of the encounter (not the least of which is that the vehicle I installed the battery in was never sold in the US, and is not even an option in their system), but this captures the highlights: I bought a battery, was told there was a warranty, and they refused to honor the warranty. I would like these things: - A complete refund - An apology from the employee - Assurances that interpretation of the warranty will not be made at point-of-sale employees

I ordered a new alternator from AutoZone.com on March 13th. It arrived on the 15th. At the time of purchase, I was charged an additional $40 fee for the core charge and was told that I could return the old alternator to have the fee refunded. I happened to be going into town (an hour drive away) on the 16th, so I figured it would be a great opportunity to drop the old alternator off at the local AutoZone to have the $40 fee refunded. I brought in the old alternator and they refunded the $40. Perfect! Later in the week I was able to put the new alternator in my vehicle. After it was in, I realized that the alternator appeared to be bad so I made the hour trip into town to see if the local AutoZone could test it and exchange\replace it if it was bad. They tested it and said that it was bad, so I asked if they could exchange it. I was told sure but they did not have any in stock at the moment. I then asked if I could return it instead so that I could check other local auto part stores. I was told that it would be no problem. They took the alternator and said that the entire amount paid would go back to my payment method within the next few days. I found an alternator in stock at Oriellys and was also charged a $40 core charge fee and was told that I would get refunded the $40 fee when I brought in my old alternator. I knew I wasn't going to be able to because I had already given my old altenator to AutoZone, but I was not too worried because I was told that I would be refunded the full amount. After a couple of days I seen the refund on my account, but it was only for the cost of the alternator, not the core charge. I went back to the store and explained to them my situation and asked them to give my my old altenator back (or any old alternator) or refund me the $40. I was basically told oh well tough luck. I asked them to please make it right, but all I got was an attitude. AutoZone now has my old altenator that they will make money off of and I am out $40.
