Monarch installed my system 5 years ago through a ****** Program. They came last week for the annual maintenance check and said they found major problems which were no longer covered by warranty due to some reading on the system. As senior undergoing cancer treatment I was taken in by Monarch Home Services scare tactics. They told me the heat exchange unit was cracked and would fill the house with carbon monoxide and kill everyone within. The supervisor showed me photos of the cracks. They had me sign a waiver that Monarch was not responsible if mt daughter turned on the heater and everyone was killed. I rent the house to my daughter and granddaughter so I freaked out and caved to signing a contract for $27,000 to replace the heat exchange unit and duct work. Today when they removed the heat exchange unit there were no visible cracks in it. I asked their own technician if he could locate any cracks and he could not. I kept the part even though they told me I had to give it back because it was still under a 20 year warranty, which was a contradiction of what they told me last week. During the week process they failed to show up for appointments. Would not return my calls, and only showed up to complete the duct work they removed the day before after I gave them a One Star review on ******. How can companies who do these things continue to get away with it?Review from Myra P

Beware of Monarch Home Services!!!They break AC units so they can charge you later to fix them!!!Yesterday their technician, ******, came to my house to do the maintenance on my AC unit. He said the static was high. He called another individual, ****, to go into my attic to find out what was cause the static. Little did I know he went into my attic to disconnect ducts from my AC vents. Half of my house was hot for the night. I called a different ********** and they told me what they did. I was very upset. I can't believe they would intentionally break my AC unit to charge me for repairs. BEWARE don't this happen to you!!!! Shame on you Monarch Home Services!!!Review from Sarai D

I posted a similar review elsewhere and got almost an immediate response through the platform. We STILL have not heard back from a SINGLE PERSON. The follow-up is SCARY non-existent.We DO NOT know if a pest control person came out and fixed the issue. We were told if it happens again, it is on US to pay for the repair. No one came out - so whose fault is it when the super schmoozy sales "supervisor" promised the pest control would come out on HIS dime, but no one ever came.They come to your house ensuring great customer service and from there its downhill on all aspects. Weve had TWO MAJOR installs with them and its like after the big bad sales guy comes in and scares you into thinking youre poisoning your family with insulation, everyone after that completely ignores you. Somehow our monthly insurance subscription got cancelled, so we have no idea if we are still eligible for service because NO ONE WILL CALL US BACK. Weve called literally dozens of times and every time were ensured the same supervisor who sold us the system will call back. Its been 7 weeks. Im gonna recommend you shop around before letting them work their sales, family friendly magic on you.0/10 will return. I DO NOT recommend them anymore.Review from Kathy L

Less than a zero!!! I am a recent widow, senior citizen and a veteran. I was just recently scammed by Monarch. They came to give me my free check up from ******* They put in my Lennox HVAC, 2 yrs ago. I thought that I could trust ****** and monarch. I was soooo wrong!!! The technician sent for a field supervisor to go on top of the roof and check his gauge. He said that my unit was working too hard and to leave my air conditioning off, in 106* heat! He sent another field supervisor that could fit through my attic opening. He told me that I was only getting half of the air that I was supposed to be getting and that my unit was dirty because I had leaks in my ducting, that passed inspection 2 years earlier when they put the new unit on the roof. So, they said I shouldnt use my air until they put the new ducting in and they could put it in the next morning. I just had to sign the paperwork on his phone. I needed cool air because its HOT. and me and my pups needed to be cool. They were supposed to bring me a paper copy of the contract and lifetime warranty the next morning with my daughter and sons name on there too, in case I pass. I still dont have any paperwork. And, when I called she said no one is allowed to go to their office to pick it up. The 4 rooms still dont cool like they promised. They tore up my closet, they left screws and fiberglass in the lawn and driveway and flowerbeds. They gave me a flat tire that I had to get patched, now its compromised. This company is fraudulent and should never be trusted with your business or money. Monarch takes advantage of good, hardworking, trusting people. They are not reputable. They are predators with zero integrity, zero honor. Its very sad that they ruin good peoples lives on fixed incomes, causing financial hardships for at least 15 years. And, once theyve stripped you of your dignity...they are onto their next prey to victimize. They are stealing almost $24,000 from me for ducting, that I didnt need!Review from Henry T

I was a member of Monarch but not anymore and you'll see why. The burner kit on my water tank broke and I asked Monarch to come by and take a look at it (this was when I was still a member). They wanted to charge me initially for a $149 diagnostic fee, but when I told them I was a member they waived the fee. After the diagnostic made by the technician, he confirmed that the burner kit was broken and needed to be replaced. The initial quote was $2700.... However, since the part was still under warranty, they said they would ONLY charge me $895. I asked the tech how much labor time will be involved and he said about 30 minutes... I asked him if the part is under warranty and covered by manufacturer, why are you charging me $895 for 30 minutes worth of work? His response was that the part was on backorder according to his manager. My response was that I work in a hospital pharmacy and drugs go on backorder ALL the time, but that doesn't mean my hourly rate goes up. What a bogus explanation! So I decided to go on ****'s to find a plumber that would do that work for a much more reasonable price. I was able to find a plumber to get the work done for $400 (total time for repair maybe 30-45min). NO bogus diagnosis charge either from this plumber. STAY AWAY from Monarch at all cost! This company was solid when they contracted with ****** and did the initial water tank installation. However, since COVID, their customer service and business ethics are absolutely atrocious. Needless to say, I cancelled my membership and told their customer service why I was cancelling it. I would give zero stars if I could.Review from Michele D

Same Experience first tech came out nice enough but said I will have to have my boss come out and see how much line you need to replace. Three days later the went to send another Tech out, when he called me I said I want to make sure they are sending *** who is supposed to tell me how many feet of duct needs to be replaced he said no I was not aware. I will call you right back. No call for over 1 1/2 hours and then someone just shows up at my door. He is *** and says he needs to go up and have a look. His head lamp died after 5 minutes he said I will go out and recharge it and come back in shortly. He comes in and goes back up just to tell me I have too way too many holes to count in my lines and a rodent infestation. And it is the worst he has ever seen, It will cost me ******** and I should schedule appt right now. And when I mentioned my whole house fan that I have been using that is incased in a heavy duty metal. He says what you have one where. I wouldn't use it at all. I would forget about it and seal it up. Of course I let him know we have a rodent in the attic over a year ago for two or three weeks and that would explain the p*** on the metal box from house fan line and I assured him I have four dogs and pest control and I most certainly would know if there were any other rodents in my attic since there is no plywood only 2 x 4 Joist everywhere other than that metal box. So we said you are out of your mind no we would never fall for that. We called someone out and he said that there were three holes only. They repaired them with Metal sheet inside and Duct taping and also said they only took a little video and showed same area over and over. new guy said the main issue was there was two smaller duct lines running under a bigger line and they eventually broke down and flattened I seen in his full video. So those lines needed to be replaced with is not ******** to complete by far!!!!!!!! I am happy to see that people are leaving reviews on these guys.Review from Mavis C

I bought my Lennox AC 9 years ago and purchased a 10 year parts and labor policy. After monarch bought out 1 hour I have nothing but problems with them. My unit I bought has had many problems and each time they tried to charge me to take care of these issues by totally ignoring my warranty. I have had to confront them many times. Most recently may 6 2024. I finally got those things taken care but not without a fight. Once they started to go paperless they refuse to give me a invoice on what they took care of. This time they finished on may 10 and I asked **** to send me a invoice and he said he would by the end of the day. Needless to say I did not get it. On monday I called and left a message for **** and again asked for the invoice. I did not get it. On tuesday I called ***** and explaned the problem to him He said I will call ****. On wednesday I called and left a message for ****** and the man who answered said he would send the message to her. As of today May 16 2024 I still do not have the invoice. I want to know what they are covering up since they are so not responding to my request! I am the customer they are required to give me the invoice. Who do I call next.Review from TyIsha T

***y came out said I needed all new ductwork. Gave me the options. I chose the option where they would rebuild my ** unit. When they came they did not tell me until the end that they did not not have all the parts. But I inquired about the ** Told me he didnt have an information. ***y then told me I had to get a second return, which was not told at the beginning. When they came the second time they plugged in a battery charger into the same outlet as my refrigerator my refrigerator stopped working. *** rep reported it to her supervisor and *** never received any inquiry about it. When the rep was at my house at the beginning, he told me I could buy the filters for the electronic system at **********. Come to find out you have to buy it for the manufacture company. ***y did offer a year worth of filters, however that only covers one return. I inquired about my warranty and they still havent provided me with the paperwork regarding my warranty. ***y sent me a link to the website manufacture company, which I was unable to find the information about the warranty. I have inquired about this several times and have not received a response. I would never recommend this company to anybody. ***y are not loyal to their customers they want to hear and once they get your money they dont return phone calls. ***y are not honest from the rep to the customer service reps. *** only people I felt were honest were the technicians. I was connected to them through ****** and come to find out because I didnt buy an ** ****** is no longer involved. But also was not shared until I caught it. We reviewing the contract and Was not within the contract. I do not recommend this company to anybody.Review from Maria E

I believe I was overcharged for replacement of ac unit duct replacement. Supposedly field worker said it needed to be replaced and they charged me over $20000.00
