Round 1 had a water leaks that damaged our light fixtures and some our the ceiling panels. This happened back in December of 2023. ***, the manager of Round1 have agreed to replace the light fixtures and the ceiling panels. But no action was made on his part. He has not responded back to our email. Last Sunday, June 9th, 2024. I went to round 1 to speak to *** personally. He claimed that he is "wanting " for the part to arrive. I asked him for the **** So I can track the order. His response was " I haven't order it". I'm requesting that the BBB can help us resolve the issue, before we get legal involved. 5-5 I made a reservation online and paid online to what I thought was the entirety of the reservation. I confirmed that I could pay online only as I do not have a physical card on my person. Round 1 took the deposit and on the day of, called me to confirm that the party was still coming as they were late. I asked her if she could just charge the card on file for the party regardless if people came or not. I get called later saying the party cannot happen as they cannot charge the card on file. I was told that I could use the card on file when the young lady called me about it so why did I have to turn my whole party around because no one had a card to pay with? I gave you the card information and was told I could pay with it. Round 1 employees all have different answers and no professionalism in their training. Spent 20 thousand dollars with the advertised promise of rewards points. The app does not work and the local stores wont help and they have no actual contact point only a call center with people given memorized phrases to get you to go awayInitial Complaint

I know **** machines are mostly a scam but all of them would literally just pick it up then drop it straight down. Literally not attempt to move it towards the chute to win. Thought the machine was broken so I told the manager. She told me it was a game of skill or chance. There was no chance of winning. It picked it up and.dropped it. To see if I was just imagining it u tried it on several machines. They would all pick it up and drop it without moving to the side at all. It would bring it all the way up. Hold it tight. Then let go. No attempt to hide it.Initial Complaint

Tried to use gift card to reload game card and was told "these computers were not set up for that." I was told this was corporate practice and told to contact ************** and refer to store 029SRM. Contacted "corporated" and told this was an answering service and still no one could give me details about the gift card terms and conditions. Was told "whatever the manager says goes for that location." We now have $100 in gift cards received as a gift we can only use on bowling as that is the only option for that location.Initial Complaint

This is for Round One in *********, ** on 12/26/2023 between 06:20 PM to 06:30 PM. I played the game won the jackpot of 628 Points. I figured something was wrong and went to help desk to check on the situation. The store manager confirmed i was given only *********************************************************** play again and cannot give me the points i won, later he started asking me for Video evidence and said i should be able to prove it and i am rude when i said it is a fraud. When confronted he said, he doesn't want to talk to and i should do whatever i want to do. .Initial Complaint

On December 10, 2023, I visited the Round1 ******************* located inside *************************** and their address is ****************************************************************************. This is my second time that I had visited this place within one year. I walked in with a can of beer. I did not read the signs of the establishment that were in the front stating to not bring outside food or drinks in. I maybe took 3 sips of it when this nasty, hostile and rude unprofessional female named ******* (She had long dark hair and wore a black suit) approached me very angry and demanded I throw the beer away, which I complied. She was not even nice about how she approached me and treated me inhumanely. I followed her thinking she was walking me to the trash can, so I took another 2 sips and she rudely snatched the beer out of my hand aggressively spilling a little of the beer on my hand. I was upset but I spoke to the manager ******* who was the witness and ******* about it when she walked back. I apologized to them 3 times about bringing beer in and I spoke it a calm manner. She should have never aggressively snatched the beer out of my hand or even touched me. She had NO right to do that. I told her in a calm way that it really was inappropriate. All she said was, I COULD apologize for that but she NEVER did. Also, it is not even an apology for how she treated me. I asked her NICELY if she could please apologize to me since would make me feel better, and she rudely said ILL PASS! and walked away from me. ******* told me that she was an Assistant manager in training but she had no customer service skills and no respect. She could have approached me in a better way, and she was very hostile, aggressive, rude and unprofessional. I complied the entire time and never raised my voice to them and stayed calm. ******* should not be an assistant manager, if she is going to touch customers and swipe things out of their hands aggressively.Initial Complaint

Went to ****** ****** location to attend a fun bowling night with my region employees. I paid for two rounds of bowling for both my ************ When we finished our 1st game & tried to play the 2nd, we were told the lane needed to go to the next group. I sought a refund for my second games & was told no, because our games went to other people. Spoke to GM, ******, the next day. She said you are all adults and should know what you are paying for. Very rude, unhelpful, and not wanting to resolve the issue and retain regular business. I have my receipts. I was charged for a service I did not receive and I tried to resolve this at the lowest level possible. I was not asked if it was okay to give my games to others. The team made an assumption and expected me to pay for it.Initial Complaint

I have never felt like I was taken advantage of and made a fool till this past Saturday. We hosted our teams football banquet at Round 1 in the **************** only to feel alone in the party process. I walked in asked an employee for direction of where to go for party check ins. I should if knew I was in trouble when the employee had a blank look. Our party room wasn't ready. That delayed our time I was advised since they were behind, and we were the last party to set up and we will start the party after. I was supposed to have two hostess and had one if that when he wasn't on break or lunch during our scheduled party time. Our arcade cards didn't work I wasn't informed of the process delay and what games can we used. I spent my time trying to order food (our host should have taken care of this, fix or get assistance on the arcade cards. We would get pizza no plates no napkins. We would get pitchers of soda no cups. We were supposed to get fries got them one or twice with no plates no condiments. The wings would come without plates/napkins. Everything came at odd times and never together. What could have been a great experience turned out to be a disaster and I feel money wasted.Initial Complaint

2/1/2023 A party schedule for 2 to 5 pm Quoted a price of $27.99 per person for 20 people and ended up paying the holiday rate though I was informed that I would not be charge a holiday rate on the 2nd.Rented the Karaoke room for 3 hrs but around 45 minutes into the party the mall alarmed sounded and all the games locked down for an hour.I spent approximately $800 on a party that was ruined and I cannot get any satisfactorily compensation.People included my children who heard the alarm rushed outside and were not allowed back in until after an hour .Many people (12 people) left the party or could not come in the party.I asked for a refund for the karaoke room and they said no but they could extend it but the teenagers who wanted ****** had already left and so I asked them to substitute that hour for bowling and was told no.Additionally, they gave us an hour game play but that was not additionall but a make up for the hour lost .Again I I asked them to let us come back another day since all my daughter's friends had to go home but they said no.In effect, we were not treated fairly. We were given wrong information and the company did not do the best to comp us for time and experience lost.The party started at around 2:30 but we did not get pur food until 4:30..and most people had already left.
