Upon arrival, I was harassed by the business owner, *************************, and his employee who would not provide his name. ************ was yelling at me while grabbing his gun on his duty belt and was unclipping it and acting like he was going to use it on me. I was simply asking for a refund because I did not feel comfortable or safe there in the hostile environment they created by repeatedly physically entering my personal space and yelling. I was expecting an introductory beginners firearm class and instead was yelled at and threatened by the owner. I kept asking his employee to stay back because he kept pushing his body into mine and standing within 3 inches of me or less. I had to put my arm out to keep him back. I received emails from the owner, ************, afterwards saying he wants me arrested or taken for **** mental evaluation just for asking for a refund. I spent almost $200 for a 4.5 hour class which I never received. I got there on time and then quickly left within 15 minutes of being there because of how hostile ************ and his employee were acting towards me.Initial Complaint

I purchased fire arms training from Bay Area Firearms from ************************* for $890.40. I prepaid for the training. I set a training date of Feb 19, 2022 @ 9am. Unfortunately both my wife and I suffered shoulder injuries and needed to cancel our planned time. I sent email to ***** on Feb 14, 2022 informing him of the situation. He understood and wanted to re-schedule. I accepted that plan but my wife and I haven taken longer to recover. We rescheduled for Sept 3, 2022 @ 9am. ***** did not show up. At this point I requested a refund and have heard nothing about getting a refund from him. According to their cancellation policy: Customers will receive a full refund or credit with 3 days notice of cancellation. Customers will also receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Contact us by phone to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. No-shows will be charged the full price.On the original cancellation I notified ***** on 2/14/2022 which was 5 days ahead of the 3 days notice requirement. This company has been extremely difficult to deal with and ***** has put me in contact with one of his instructors to re-schedule. I told the instructor, ***************************, that my wife and I could not re-schedule until 2023 and that was not going to work. I told ************** wanted a refund. All I keep getting is reschedule emails. I just want a refund for the $890.40.Even though we did not attend the 2/19 class I received a thank you for attending.
