On 11/24/2023 we purchased a new IPHONE and was charged 39.99 for the Phone and 24.99 for an Apple Watch. We were never told that this was for setting up the phone and would have not accepted these charges for this service. We are requesting a $64.98 credit for this issue.

On June 9, 2022, I went to Verizon store in Camarillo to look into a new mobile phone carrier. The man who waited on me was A****** ******. He talked me into a new phone and said that I would get a free I-Pad I paid $241.58 as start up fees. He said that the first two months my bill would be higher than normal. I left with a bad feeling about the deal. It turned out that I had worse reception than before and was unable to even send texts. I returned the following day and spoke to A****** and told him I wanted to bring everything back and wanted my old device back. He told me to just use WiFi calling and that the I-Pad was free. The reception continued to fail so I went back again the next day and was told that the manager was the only one who could help me with the return; he would not be in until the following day. Finally dealing with the manager, he did not issue a return but put in a new Sim card and said that should take care of my problem. It did not, so I went back again and was given $37.24 credit from the initial payment after paying the restocking fees and taxes.. He could do nothing about my old device; even on E-Bay my old device is worth $190. I called Customer Service 2 times and they encouraged me to seek a better settlement for my old device to no avail. I obtained a transfer pin from them and went to a new carrier. I now get a bill from Verizon for $225.59 for my first month due June 30, 2022. The online bill dated June 21, 2022 is for $949.33. My service with them ended on 06-17-2022 when I changed carriers. I feel that because I am an old woman, I was taken advantage of and deceived. I tried again today to call Customer Service about my bill but was transferred from person to person and then kept on hold for so long that I gave up.
