Trust your gut. Received Services on my c250 coupe March 2023 03/03/23 was informed my intake tube was broken and drive belt was faulty. My car is 1 driver and I usually go to the dealership and the dealership NEVER mentioned this at ALL.I asked to see the parts that were broken or needed replaced. That was not done when I picked the car up, so that was a REDFLAG.Okay now April 5, 2023 It is nice in ********** no ** because it is approching the end of rain season here. However there is a LOUD noise underneath my hood and I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCE any MAJOR issues with my VEHICLE at ALL until I RECEIVED this SERVICE back IN MARCH from Silver STAR. Also usually when I take my car in for repairs with the DEALERSHIP there is NEVER another ISSUE.Come to find out it is the Compressor, so **** Quotes me on the part and I leave my car for repairs. When I come pick my car up **** mentions if it is something else on my car he will charge me less than 1000 dollars. My response something else it SHOULD NOT be ANYTHING else as I TAKE REALLY GOOD CAR of my CAR meaning ON TIME MAINTENANCE and INSPECTIONS.WELL less than a MONTH IN MAY 23 the *** is blowing both HOT and COLD, then I get an text from **** in JULY 23 asking on status of car for a day later the ** to not blow COLD air at ALL. MY ** stop blowing cold *** in the MIDDLE OF SUMMER and he COULD NOT TELL ME WHY AND WHAT HAPPENED. FOLLOWING that in AUGUST 23 the BLOWER stopped WORKING.**** and his TEAM RIPPED ME OFF 4k and were more than LIKELY doing things to my car for me to come back and RENDER service EVERY other MONTH. I HAVE NOT BEEN B**K TO HIS SHOP SINCE THE COMPRESSOR ISSUE and he wanted to CHARGE ME MORE MONEY TO CHECK IT OUT, but COULD NOT TELL ME WHY and when the BLOWER WENT OUT I WAS CERTAIN ALL THIS WAS ON HIM because I HAD NO ISSUES BEFORE. HE IS UNETHICAL and a SCAMMER! All issues were related to the ** system that I am sure he swapped out parts and altered components intentionally for a MONEY GRAB.

On March 23 2023 her car came in and had a B service and we replaced a breather assembly that had a broken rubber hose. This part fails due to age and is kept in stock at the dealership for that very reason. The car was over Ten years old with ****** miles.  A month later the ** compressor failed at ******* miles .  Not in anyway related to the service or repair done before.  If the blower motor failed in August of 2023 that is also in no way related to the replacement of the ** compressor. We have been in business for over 40 years and do not do sabotage cars so that they will come back later for more repairs.  Cars break down without warning and older cars breakdown more often these are simple facts that some people apparently have to blame on others.  I guess that math is also something difficult as the total of service and repairs was @2843 and they want $4500 in refund?

December 2, 2023 I took my vehicle Mercedes Benz 2014 in for service. ********************* said I need to replace the fuel injection and then he was asked to check the engine light. I received a call the next day saying my vehicle was ready for pick-up. He put new fuel injection and I asked if anything else needed to be serviced and was advised that it was all good and safe to drive. Dec 6 2023 as I was driving on Hwy 50 going East to ***************, my car stopped moving in the middle of the freeway even though the engine was on. This almost caused a traffic accident. People stopped to tell me that gasoline was pouring out from the bottom of the car. A gentleman stopped and helped me push the car over and he had an extinguisher because he said he smelled gasoline. We moved it to the right side of the highway, they opened the hood as I turned the car back on and it was shooting fuel from the fuel injection #1 where Silver ********** had just done work on that injection part. I turned off the engine, called **** from Silver ********** and he advised me to bring it in. I had it towed to his location (because of this I lost a days work). I arrived at his location, I showed him the video of what happened. He used an air blower to dry the vehicle, and called me 2 hours later to tell me I could pick up the vehicle the next day, it is safe to drive. I picked it up in the morning, he said the seal cracked. He said the car is safe to drive, so I left. 2 days later on ***********, my car started to make noises. I called and spoke to **** letting him know the car was making noises and I had it towed once again to Silver Star Motors. 2 days later he called and said he took the engine out saying that he needed to fix the issue. Due to his negligence I have lost work and he is now trying to charge me for a rebuilt engine when he caused this. I want my vehicle and I need help resolving this issue, I should not be paying him and he should be paying for the repairs

On Dec 2 2023 we replaced a defective Diesel injector.  Later an o"ring" on the Diesel return line failed and resulted in Diesel fuel leaking.  When the Van was returned the leak was repaired at no charge.  The van is 10 years old with over ******* miles on it. On Dec 28 the van was towed in and the owner authorized a teardown to determine the current issue.  After examining the engine it was found that the timing chain in the engine jumped and the result was a piston hitting the valves damaging both the head and piston.  He asked if when the Van was struck in the rear a few months before could have caused the Engine to fail. We explained that that was not the cause of the engine failure, and that

the work that we had previously done on the fuel system was in no way related to the engine failure.  After he OKed the repair he is now looking for someone to "Blame".

His Engine Failure was the result of worn parts on the inside of the engine and not the result of any external factors ;ie fuel leaking, or  being in an accident. They were not caused by any action done by our repairs. He authorized the inital teardown of the engine to determine the failure and then authorized the repair.  Now he does not want to pay the bill and has tried different methods to get out of paying for the repair he authorized including the BBB and an attorney.  He is wrong in his claim the the engine failure was in someway due to our mistake.  He need to pay for the work he authorized.
