I purchased a ****** XMAX300 scooter from Wheeels in Motion on 8/5/2024..But there are serious questions about it.It often fails to start and ofen restart automatically.Now it`s the second repair.10 days have passed,I asked them when it would be fixed.They told me they don`t know.I asked for a replacement or refund and they refused.Business response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to **** picked up the repaired motocycle on the afternoon of August 29.It is good until today.I really appreciate it.

I visited the Wheels in Motion on 06/06/2024 and was helped out by a salesman names *********************** who lied to me multiple times in order to make his sale. ****** said our financing would have two years with zero interest and that the dealership would be the financing company. Now that I have received my first statement/bill I find out I am being charged an additional $2135.08 in Interest. This is not the agreement I made with the dealership and I was not interest in doing business with a third party institution since my current bank would have offered me a better financing. Now that I have gone back to the Dealership to fix this mistake they did, they have kicked me out stating this is no longer in their hands and now the problem is with the financing bank. I felt taken advantage of and I want to have this fixed. ****** lied to get a sale and that is not the way to conduct business.Business response

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We have pulled the paperwork for this purchase and have confirmed the following information.
1-The customer signed several documents that detailed not only the monthly payments but clearly disclosed the APR for the loan.

Well, I had been talking with ********************************** about buying a used 2023 Mt03. It was previously listed at 4999 and Id made an offer at 5300 about a week ago to which he never responded. Id moved on and made an offer at another dealership in another town and had rented a car to go get it. Then I take one last look at their website and see the price is now listed at 4499 which means with taxes and fees it would probably be around what I offered and a 700 savings from the dealership Id been talking to so I called up Easter and asked about it, he quoted me ******************************************* take it and would change my car rental drop off (as was going to drive the motorcycle home). I texted him Id changed my car reservation and no sooner had I provided my Drivers license and picture of credit card for a deposit did he tell me the bike was being sold to someone else and offer to sell me a new one. I asked about getting made whole for the fee I had paid to switch the car rental and was declined. I even offered to attempt to get back my loss by getting parts I would need for when I get the bike from someone and didnt hear back. I did now read other reports here about bait and switch. Im not sure that happened but am a little concerned that I gave my info out. Id like to give them the benefit of the doubt, and that he only told me I could buy a bike without checking first. Turns out car companies dont like changes within 24 hours so I had to call customer service and hold while they sorted it out with a supervisor and finally the solution was to refund my initial reservation and make a new one for two days while assuring me I can shorten it to one day at the counter when I pick up. Long story short, $111 initial reservation before Wheels in motion, new reservation $175 after. Id like to be paid the difference and an additional $50 for this circus. 175-111=64. 64+50=114.Business response

I am rejecting this response because: business made a response that was nonsense about how this wasnt service department related. I see that the it was marked as such but is clearly an issue with the sales **** if you read my response. Calling to speak to the sales **** wont solve the issue of me being out of money. All I want is the money.

I am rejecting this response because: Im only willing to communicate through the Better Business Bureau with Wheels in Motion, which I told a Wheels in Motion employee when I called in yesterday. Whether you make an offer to compensate me or not based on phone conversation is irrelevant based on the facts and evidence already supplied. Perhaps you want to bargain. Heres my final offer, $85 check sent to me. All future communication that isnt an acceptance will be rejected.

Wheels in Motion advertises vehicles that have been sold for months and they leave them advertised at a low price that all other dealers won't do just to keep people coming and the phone ringing. They use bait and switch tactics and it's shameful business practices. These are clear DMV violations that fall on deaf ears when reported to DMV. Beware! They offer units for sale that are not for sale but their staff is trained to sell you whatever they do have in stock.Business response

No sure if this complaint is about our service department or our website ads. if this is regarding the service department please explain the situation and I'll be more then happy to address any issues.

I took in my bike in for routine maintenance. I picked up the bike & took the bike home. I parked it for about 2 weeks. No one moved it or messed with it and it was covered the whole time. When I took the cover off to clean it because they had left oily finger prints & oil stains all around, I noticed that one plastic panel on the bike had been scratched pretty bad.I needed to take the bike in to have the fuel canister changed, so waited to take it in to talk to someone. When I picked it up I told the guy at the maintenance counter & also ***** (parts manager) about it.He went outside to inspect it & asked me if I had dropped the bike. No I hadnt. He said that there were some scratches all over the left side. Not true, some scratches on the left ************* guard. That happened one day has I was moving my bike out the ********* scraped the wall, some minor scratches on the crash bar from mechanics scratching it with their tools, & scratches to the crash bar slider (a plastic that protects the crash bar) when I scrapped against a large rock.Besides, the scratched part I am talking about is on the opposite side. There is no damage to any parts anywhere near that one part. They appear to be tool marks because the mechanic failed to removed two screws to remove it.There are other scratches on the bike, including on the frame, most dine by their mechanics. Which I never complained about simply because I am OK with them. Things can happen while you work on bikes or cars. Even though using some cheap masking tape could had prevented them. But scratching that panel was nothing but negligence.I have called *********************** (general manager) & left two voice massages for ******** has not called back. At this time it seems that they are just going to ignore my claims.I am summiting three pictures. One that shows all the other parts surrounding the scratched part, to show that there is no damage to the any of them. Which would suggest other causes for the damage.Business response
