May 5/24 is when I asked for my documents back from ****************** Ditaranto, LDA, BOND#******** he was helping me with my divorce case, but when I told him I no longer needed his help, and that that I was going to use a different law firm and I wanted my documents and information back that I gave him immediately I still have not received it. it s now 5/2/24Business response

I MAILED HER THE ENTIRE FILE. THERE IS NO REASON FOR ME NOT TOO. WE HAD A VERY GOOD WORKING RELATIONSHIP. I SPENT FAR MORE TIME WITH HER THAN WHAT MY FEES WERE. SHE SHOULD CHECK WITH THE POST OFFICE. I DID NOT RECEIVE THE LARGE ENVELOPE BACK TO MY OFFICE.Initial Complaint

I hired ******** to help my husband and I with the citizenship process. The whole time I have been doing business with him, He is hard to get ahold of, does not reply to my texts or give me any answers or proof of filing of the documents with USCIS. I moved from ********** to ventura county and asked him repeatedly to change the address, I didn't hear from him for over a month and called to ask about the address change and he still didn't do it, claiming I didn't pay for that service which I didn't know I needed to pay for. Every time I call he acts like he doesn't know who I am, and runs me around in circles and the calls get no where and he says he will get it done and his "assistant" will help. I told him in a text he was ****** and he called me and screamed at me on the phone saying "are you paying me for the address change??" I dint know I had to pay for that service. When I called him over a month after moving , he said he would email me the form I needed to change the address and never did, now he is asking me to make an account with USCIS which is very difficult to navigate the site and I can't figure out how to do it without his help and I need certain information like a receipt # which I don't have now he won't answer calls or texts . He told me he got locked out of the account he made for my husband which I find hard believing. I need proof he has started the paperwork process and can change our address for us. thank you for taking the time to read this over, if you have any more questions please reach out asap .*********************Business response

Response to complaint #********. I am still currently assisting this couple with her husband's immigration process. They wanted to do a change of address with USCIS (Immigration). I told her there was a fee for me to do the address change or she could go online and do this for free. She was unable to set up her account and wanted me to do this, but did not want to pay. This went back and forth for a few weeks. I'm still willing to do this service for her. I have not heard from them in weeks.NickInitial Complaint

Ditaranto Legal Document Services Contacted on 2/15/2022 for divorce and paid him $460 for work to be done and $435 for cuort fees.He filed for divorce and two weeks later I called him and he told me that the Divorce has been filed (but he had put down his address instead of mine) I asked him to serve my wife in Orange County wher she has been residing since 2/14/2022, He agreed and charged $85. a few day went by and not answer so I finally called him and asked about ************* of Summons He told he has not heard anything yet this went on for a week after a wek i called my wife to find out if she was served which she said that she was served a week ago. I contacted **** and told him about my wife been served He said he does not have any thing yet I asked him to call the server to find out where the document was. Finally he called me a few days lated and told me the document is in and I went to pick it up and **** it with the court. When **** handed me the document I realized that they are printed good and are very hard to read and it was not the original copy like **** had indicated which has to be filed. I asked him for a better copy he told he does not have time.I filed the proof of Summons that day on the 17th of march my wife was served on the 7th of march. it took 10 days for **** to give me all those unreadable copys. The court rejected my documents because they wre not the originals.**** is in collusion with my wife and her lawyer to delay my case in ********** so that My wifes attorny can have time to file in Orange County. If my case gets transferd to Orange County **** is responsible for my Lawyers fees to go there and defend my case in OC.Business response

A. I filed a divorce for ************************. His wife was served by a process server. I gave a copy of the proof of service to him. His wife hired an attorney in Southern **********. I am not sure which court has jurisdiction at this time.
b. ************************ has since made defamatory and libelous comments about me on Yelp and in his complaint to BBB.
c. Mr. ********* has also claimed I am in cahoots with his wife's attorney. This is also in the Yelp complaint.
d. Time of service is not controlled by me since we hired a process server in Southern **********.
e. I have performed work for ************************ in the past and This is why he came back to me to file for his divorce. I cannot not control his wife's actions to hire an attorney.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:
Nick ********* had recieved the profo service of sumuns but did not give it to me for 10 days and when I called him he did not aswer my phone calls and when I went to his office he lied to me and told me he has not recieved it for 10 days and then he gave me none readable copy and when I asked him to give me a better copy he said he does not have time the copy that I submitted to the court which I recieved for Nick ********* was rejected because it was not readable in the end I hired an attorny and he contacted the process server to get a copy from him and filed it with the court. Nick ******** is a lier and dishonest I paid him for my services and trusted him he took my money and betraid me
