SPT portable air conditioner has stopped blowing cold air and all the answers to the problem is "have service technician fix". I just want AC in my houseBusiness response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/09/01) */ It seems **** opened a BBB case prior to reaching out to us. Our records show **** was emailed after business hours on Aug 16th and received a reply on Aug 17th. She was emailing with one of our CSRs on Aug 17th 2022. The last message sent by our rep was on morning of Aug 18th. **** has not replied to the message asking her to call him to provide better details and do troubleshooting while with the unit. This complaint matches her initial email saying to contact a service technician for service so I'm not sure why a BBB case was opened. Our team needs more details on the supposed issue she is having and to provide purchase details so we can verify if it is still covered by our 1-yr manufacturer warranty or not. **** should call when with the machine for troubleshooting. if an issue is confirmed and the machine is verified to be under warranty then it can be sent to us for repair. If it is not under warranty she can find a local appliance repair or send to us for out of warranty repairs at her cost. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/09/07) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I did reach back out and no help was offered. They should be reliable for fixing it out of pocket for an expensive machine that did not last. Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2022/09/15) */ Still do not have any record of the customer reaching out to us. What is the name of the representative you spoke to? As of now no information has been provided that gives us details and allows us to try and solve any possible issue. Based on the response here it appears this is not covered by warranty and she knows that. As mentioned before, if a unit is no longer covered under warranty we will still help troubleshoot over the phone and advise of what parts may need to be purchased to fix an issue, if there is one. Otherwise with it being out of warranty she can find a local repair shop on her own. Our team has sent another message via email asking for details. It was purchased in the beginning of spring yet there's assumptions that it's not covered by warranty. Company sucks don't purchase from here. They're nothing but crooks
