I set up a car warranty with CoverageX LLC on May 31, 2024 and paid $120. I signed on with another car warranty ** on June 11, 2024 because they had better **verage and a little cheaper. I called CoverageX shortly after in June 2024 to cancel their service and stop any further deductions. CoverageX **ntinued taken payments on July 1, 2024 for $150 and on August 3, 2024 for $150. I have requested a refund for all payments taken of $420. I was told the only person who **uld do that was a **************************** who would have to call me back. When I did not hear from **************, I called him and he first wanted to keep me as a customer by lowering the premium. When I declined the lower premium he refused to refund me stating that he has no re**rd of me calling to cancel. I informed ************** that I would have no reason not to call because I cannot afford to pay for 2 warranties on the same vehicle. I informed him that I called in June and July as well as a few days ago on August 8, 2024. I have not had any claims and would like a **mplete refund of $420.Business response

08/08/2024, two conversations with our customer service team.
08/09/2024, the date of your official cancellation with our representative ******.
I do not show any attempt to contact us between the dates of 5/31/2024 and 08/08/2024.
If you can produce a call record, which must include the date of your attempted call and the phone number in which you attempted to contact us with, I will happily refund the policy in full and backdate your effective cancellation date to that date, provided the attempt to contact us was completed within 30 days of initial purchase.Initial Complaint

Coverage X has been calling non stop about a coverage of my car but I don't have a car and I can't drive. I've been trying to ask them to take me off their list and stop calling. After hearing I can't drive, they always follow up on asking if any of my family members can drive. I really want them to stop calling.Business response

Illegal robo-call to advertise their business, a.k.a sellBusiness response

Just for clarification, CoverageX does not conduct outbound robocalls for any purpose, advertising or otherwise. Our attempts to contact you were conducted by live humans looking to follow up after your submission for info on our site to save you money on auto repairs, for which we have express written consent to do so.
Regardless, we take all requests for contact to cease very seriously, including yours. I can confirm that there will be no further attempt to contact you. I hope this provides the resolution you were searching for.

A) I have received a robo-call!
B) I have not contacted that business in any form whatsoever.
C) I'm on the do-not-call list. I expect not to be called by businesses I have not dealt with in any form whatsoever.
D) Stop lying about me having initiated any contact with you in any form. I haven't!!!

CoverageX does not conduct robocalls, which is the use of a pre-recorded message made outbound to you. We contacted you the old fashioned way with a human. Many may refer to any telemarketing call as a 'robocall', however there is a difference between the two.
We have a submission for a request for information to save money on auto repairs, in which your information was provided on 04/29/2024 at 14:21:29 from an IP address 100.35.193.206. If that is not your IP address, then someone has submitted your information, either inadvertently or purposefully. I have faith that you can understand this attempt to contact you was not made with poor intentions or to disturb you -- we received an inquiry and attempted to contact in response.
Regardless of the nuances of the situation, I can reaffirm that you will not be contacted by us again for any reason. I trust that this resolution will rectify this issue for you.

Company, and companies like it, keep calling me about my "Extended Warranty" Falsely claiming they are from the ***************************** regarding a 2013 ***** Civic. I have never owned a 2013 ***** Civic nor has anyone in my extended family. They have my address and they have my phone number. I would like for this company never to call me again. The representative even said he was told not to disclose what warranty he worked for at first. It's beyond shady and It may very well be worth investigating. *********************************** is their websites. Have fun.Business response
