Greetings,
This appears to an identity theft claim rather than a complaint. The consumer should provide the required documents in order for Cedars Sinai to begin their ID theft investigation.
1. Police report or FTC ID theft affidavit
2. Copy of state issued ID and social security card
3. Written and signed statement of what happened.
We recommend that these documents be submitted directly to our office.

We have attempted to contact this consumer several times. Statements were sent to her home address and many phone calls have been made to the phone number she provided. All of our communication attempts have been unsuccessful.
The original creditor can assign delinquent debts to third-party collection agencies to collect the debts on their behalf. While the consumer did not create a contract with ****, the original creditor has the right to assign the unpaid debt for collection. This is what gives **** the ability to collect the outstanding debt.
We have verified with the original creditor that the accounts remains outstanding. We will consider this BBB complaint as a dispute and mail out verification of the debts to the address listed. Should the consumer wish to discuss or resolve the debts, we encourage them to contact our office.
Regards,
DRSI

This is a duplicate complaint from June, 2024. The original creditor can assign delinquent debts to third-party collection agencies to collect the debts on their behalf. While the consumer did not create a contract with ****, the original creditor has the right to assign the unpaid debt for collection. This is what gives **** the ability to collect the outstanding debt.
Despite our several attempts to contact the consumer, we have not been able to discuss the debts with them. We have verified with the original creditor that the accounts remains outstanding.
Regards,
DRSI

I am writing to file a formal complaint against Springhill Emergency Physician (Designed Receivable SO) and the credit reporting agencies **********, Experian, and Equifax for reporting inaccurate and inconsistent information about my account (account number ending in XXXXXXXXXXXX). These errors are causing significant harm to my credit score and violate both the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and Metro 2 reporting standards.Key Issues:Inconsistent Reporting of Account Status:********** classifies this account as an "Open Account," while Experian and Equifax label it as a "Collection Account." These discrepancies violate Metro 2 standards, which require uniformity in reporting across all credit bureaus.Inaccurate Balance and High Credit Reporting:The balance on this account is reported as $1,391.00, while the high credit is reported as $1,058.00. The difference is unexplained and may reflect added fees or other charges that have not been properly disclosed. Under FCRA Section 623, creditors are required to report accurate and complete information. I have disputed this with the creditor, but no action has been taken.Future-Dated Reporting:Both ********** and Experian list the accounts "Last Active" date as 08/30/2024. This is inaccurate and violates the requirement for maximum accuracy under 15 U.S.C. 1681e(b). This future-dated information should be corrected immediately.Discrepancies in Dispute Comments:Although the account is under dispute, the credit bureaus are not consistently reporting this. ********** simply lists that the account is disputed, whereas Experian and Equifax provide different comments. I request that uniformity be enforced, as per FCRA Section 611.Business response

The consumer's account was assigned to DRSI for collection fro $1058.00 on 9/6/2019, for medical services rendered on 6/2/2019. **** provides updated Metro 2 files to the **** each week. The balance as of today, is $1395.57, as interest accrues on the account at 6% per annum. By statute, obligations on open accounts bear interest at a rate of six percent per annum. See Ala. Code 8-8-1, 8-8-8 (1975); ********** v. ******* ***** and **** 46 Ala. 653 (1871); Staples *. *****************************, 447 So. 2d 779 (Ala. ***. App. 1984); ******** *. ******, 694 So. 2d. 1355 (Ala. ***. App. 1996). We have been reporting this unpaid collection account as "disputed" as required by the ****, since July, 2020. **** provides the same, accurate Metro 2 file to all three credit bureaus, so if the consumer disagrees with how the **** report the data, they should address their concerns with the ****. As for "Future-Dated" reporting, 8/30/2024, is not future-dated. We have verified with the original creditor that the accounts remains outstanding. We will consider this BBB complaint as a dispute and mail out verification of the debts to the address listed. Should the consumer wish to discuss or resolve the debt, we encourage them to contact our office.

DRSI

The consumer's account was assigned for collection on 1/11/2019, for medical services rendered by Springhill Emergency Physicians on 8/11/2018. According to our records, we have spoken to the consumer on several occasions. While the consumer has indicated that their insurance should have paid, they never not provided insurance information to the provider or to our office. We have verified that the balance remains outstanding and the consumer should contact our office if they wish to discuss options that may be available.
