BrownTrout Publishers, the calendar company, owes me ****** for use of my 12 photos that BrownTrout printed in its 2021 Rose Calendar. BrownTrout signed a contract with me on March 30, 2020 to use those 12 photos in its 2021 calendar. The BrownTrout contract includes a written statement that states "BrownTrout's photo fees for images submitted by me and choice by BrownTrout as enumerated and will be mailed by BrownTrout in accordance with the Guidelines by December 31, 2021". I awaited payment in January 2022 from BrownTrout that I never received. Starting in February 2022 I have called BrownTrout via telephone numerous times. Its switchboard would transfer my calls to several departments including production and business offices. Persons in those offices never picked up my phones...and eventually calls I made to those appropriate offices were blocked without a ring. Next, I sent BrownTrout emails to ask when am I getting payment for the ***** owed to me for the 2021 photos. No response for emails either. Surprisingly, a month ago, BrownTrout invited me to submit photos for BrownTrout's calendar for the 2024 rose calendar. I emailed back to the inviting email noting BrowntTrout still owes me ****** but I never received a response to this email.

Browntrout Publishers, sold my photographs in their 2021 calendars and refuses to honor our contract. According to signed contracts attached, payments totaling $******* were due December of 2021. I have contacted them about payment multiple times and I have not received it. I demand this be resolved immediately by sending payment now.

Browntrout Publishers has not paid me for the last three years for my photos they have published on several of their calendars. I have contacted them by email and by phone and been ignored every time. According to the contracts I have signed with the company the payments are supposed to be made by Dec. 31 for the calendar year that the photos are used. After finding out that there are 14 other complaints with the BBB for the same situation, I feel I have no other recourse but to take this action. I have enjoyed having my photos published by Browntrout but I cannot give away my photography for free.

02/10/22 Browntrout has not honored the signed contract to pay me for my images published in the 2021 Browntrout calendars. I have a contract that states payment will be received by December 31, 2021 for the images used for their 2021 calendars. I have called and also emailed the urgency of them paying me the $******** they owe me for 2021. I let them know that I had blood clot surgery in February 2021 and in October 2021 breast cancer and a mastectomy and that my doctors all agree that I only have about two years to live. I am no longer able to work and need to be paid immediately, but got no response.
