I was coerced into LASIK on 01/10/24, Ive been quite obviously unsure about getting it, postponing for months and rescheduling the date of the procedure, nobody in that office caring or asking why, and when I finally get into the office I am handed a consent form with all the complications associated with the procedure. I purposefully don't initial or sign the document, asking for further explanation, and when the doctor comes to talk to me about it, he basically just waives it all off saying the **** made them" inform all his clients of these things, that it actually never happens and it's irrelevant (which was all a lie). He hands me the paper to sign... he doesn't inquire whether or not I'm sure about doing this, that this could alter the rest of my life.. so I am basically forced to sign! Then I am given another paper of instruction post procedure, and I very clearly state I'm unsure about this to all the staff and doctor and they continue to just PUSH their ideas on me, telling me everything will be fine, I asked the clerk if I want to cancel and get a refund can I? And she states but "you were supposed to do it today right now this moment," and so no person in that business offered me a way out, nobody once said "if you're unsure you don't have to do it" even though I was holding it off for hours for a reason! Now I am stuck with compromised eyeballs for the rest of my life, I dont know what will happen to me but all I know is this is not what I wanted. I was not informed that the cornea flap would never fully heal, and that the complications are all very REAL, and I clearly stated I didnt want to be careful of rubbing my eyes for MONTHS. These people hustled me into the operating room and basically stole my money because I preferred my eyesight before. I want all my money back!Business response

We have a response to this complaint, however, we need authorization from the person filing the complaint to share information in regards to the person and the complaint. Please provide a copy of authorization to share information from the person who filed complaint so we do not violate HIPAA policy.
