I was charged numerous times when I never even went in there. I did enter the establishment twice. I also told them to cancel my membership two days prior and it was within the timeframe of being canceled and they still charge me for the membership I would like my money back ASAP for any services rendered.Initial Complaint

I have now had two services in a row in which the result was swollen, red, painful eyes. I was given inconsistent communication around products and potential reasons for this. I had multiple appointments before these two with no reaction. I expressed that I believed it was due to the service itself, excessive glue getting into the eye, and being poked with the instruments. My concerns were not addressed. I insisted the second time that they be removed, but was told there was no room for refund despite needing to take them off for safety of my eyes within 24 hours. The staff was not professional nor supportive of potentially injuring my eyes. I will be reaching out to my doctor as well to see if there is concern of scratching on my eye/potential for infection. I would like a full refund for the credit, up charge, and gratuity left for this harmful service administered on 10/28/2022.Business response

Hello!
****** informed staff and management of an allergic reaction and irritation of the eye prior and expressed her concerns for her next service. This matter was taken seriously and with care. ****** waived the rights to a patch test and proceeded with the service. The following day, she called the studio to inform that again she experienced some irritation. We immediately offered to bring her in for a comp removal at no charge to her. She agreed and came in for the service to remove the eye lashes which at that time she did not express any concerns of price

After using my membership at 3 of the *** locations, and receiving sub-par, sloppy service at each location, I decided to terminate my membership. On April 15, 2022, I contacted my phone the Fair Oaks location, which is where I made the contract, with explained I was dissatisfied with their services and requesting a termination. I was told they would email me a termination form, but it was never sent. I contacted the studio by phone again on April 19th and requested a termination form for the second time. I was told that as long as I returned the form to them before May 9th that they would be able to cancel my membership. They reluctantly sent me the form, which I promptly returned by responding to their email within 20 minutes. I discovered on May 13th a $139.00 pending charge for my membership. I contacted the studio and requested they stop the transaction or reimburse me and was assured by the receptionist or manager that they would immediately take care of it and that the $139.00 would not be taken from my account. On May 14th, the pending $139.00 was successfully taken from my account. I then forwarded the studio my previous email from April 19 with the termination form, and still have not been contacted or reimbursed as promised. After reviewing the BBB website, it appears that this is not the first time the Fair Oaks location has charged people after they have terminated their memberships. I am afraid this studio will continue to charge my account after I have terminated my membership or will refuse to reimburse me for the fraudulent charges.
