Summary of Complaint:Date of Transaction:Initial repair: Approximately two months ago.Amount of Money Paid:$3,850 (Dodge repairs), $650 (car rental), $1,650 (AAA repairs) = $6,150.What the Business Committed to Provide:Repair lifters, cylinders, and camshaft of my 2014 Dodge Charger.Nature of the Dispute:-After paying $3,850, no repairs were done. The dealership kept the car for three weeks with poor communication. I had to rent a car for $650.-The car overheated the same day I picked it up and was towed to AAA. AAA charged $1,650 to replace the radiator and water pump.-The car continued to overheat due to coolant leaks Dodge should have fixed. Repeated calls to Dodge were met with long holds and no resolution.-On July 8, **, a representative, tried to charge again for the same work. On July 12, *********************** demanded payment or to pick up the car. They refused to guarantee or complete the work.-Our attorney sent a demand letter for a refund on July 15, but no response as of July 23.Business's Attempts to Resolve:The business has not resolved the issue and refused to fix the problems caused by their inadequate repairs.Desired Resolution:Full refund for incomplete work and compensation for additional expenses.

In May, my vehicle started having issues with not starting and emitting white smoke. I had it towed to the dealership, but they were unable to find anything wrong and only recommended replacing the spark plugs and changing the oil. I had these services performed the next day at ***********************. However, the same problem occurred less than a week later, which brings us to the current situation.May 5, 2024?I had my battery replaced after noticing issues with my radio. AutoZone advised a new battery, which I purchased from Napa due to cost.May 6, 2024?My car wouldn't start, and white smoke was coming from the exhaust. I had it towed to Jeep in Folsom. They performed a diagnostic test, which the vehicle passed, and it started right up. They couldn't find anything wrong and recommended an oil change and spark plug replacement. I picked up the car on May 8 and took it for an oil change.May 9, 2024?******** performed the oil change and kept the car overnight. That evening, they reported the car wouldn't start and drove roughly when it did. They performed a head and block test at no cost, which the car passed. I mentioned ****'s advice to replace the spark plugs and oil change, which ******** did.May 12, 2024?While visiting ***********, my car wouldn't start. After waiting five hours, it still wouldn't start, so I had it towed to Jeep. This time, it failed the head and block test after the third try. Now, a month and a half later, I am writing to request that the repairs be covered at no cost to me. I have been dismissed multiple times, first for smelling coolant and then for my car not starting. I am not responsible for the blown head gasket, as the dealership failed to diagnose the vehicle properly. I believe the dealership failed to properly diagnose the problem, and therefore, this issue should be resolved at no cost to me.

I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee L, 2021 that has had one issue after another and I am currently waiting for the buy back to be complete. Meanwhile, In January 2024, I took my car in to have it checked for issues and SWAP my tires. ( this is the 2nd year we've done this) They put the winter tires on as requested and did not put the 3 good, 6 month old tires back in my car. When we picked it and opened to back to see the all weather tires they were missing. the employee at the check- out counter got a service rep involved and they looked for our tires for an hour. it was late and they said they would find them and give us a call. That never happened. We have been texting, calling and stopped in to try and get them to replace what they lost. now they have reported to Jeep that we are requesting a change to the vehicle before the buy back and this report has stalled our progress. All I want is repayment/ replacement for the tires they lost/ stole. Our all ******** should be put back on the car so we can keep our winter tires and this buy back can proceed all weather tires ****** X3 + tax .085 = ******

There is a well-known and documented issue with Ram vehicles where the Media Hub randomly fails to work. This dealer says I have to bring my vehicle in, and they have to see the failure occur before they will replace the defective unit. They also say that they don't keep the Media Hubs in stock and it would have to be ordered. I live an hour away from the dealer. So I'm supposed to bring my truck in and either wait or rent another vehicle while hoping that the issue occurs at the same time when someone there decides to investigate it. If that happens, I have to wait for them to order the part, then drive back again to get the replacement part installed. This is just a stupid process and is not "customer service".

I purchased a vehicle from pre owned from Folsom lake CDJR In January or 2020. The vehicle was outfitted with aftermarket 22 rims and tires. I was informed by two local tire shops that the tires that where On the vehicle cannot be replaced as its a liability for them to do so. Americas tire stated the tires are not compatible with the rims and they were stuffed on which poses a safety risk. I followed up with another tire shop who stated the same thing, and they were unwilling to put a replacement tire on the rims. Americas tire provided me a sizing chart of appropriate tire sizes. Both shops stated I needed to come down in rim size in Order to fix this issue which means buying 4 new rims and four new tires. I proceeded to address this safety concern with Folsom Lake CDJR with no resolve. The general manager has ignored two emails as of this morning. It appears he is complicit in negligent safety standards and unwilling to address me regarding the matter.

On March 18, 2021, I took my 2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 4XE in for service. It needed an oil change and I had noticed what appeared to be an oil leak and asked them to look at it. It turns out it was a transmission fluid leak. They provided me a rental car through enterprise but it was two-door and I have kids and needed a 4 door. They put me in a 5-year-old car that was falling apart. I complained about the horrible state of the vehicle and they moved me to a different 5-year-old horrible loaner car. They told me that the part was on back order and didn't know how long it was going to take to get it in stock. Well a week ago it came in and now they don't have a technician to do the repairs. We are coming up on a week and I have asked for the manager to call me three times not and have not heard from him, I have asked my Jeep Wave representative four times to call me and have not heard from anyone. The loaners they gave me are disgusting with blown speakers, stains, over 100K miles, and the biggest issue I have is that this is costing me money out of my pocket. I bought an eclectic vehicle but they gave me a gas vehicle which I have to pay for the gas. I have a brand new fully-loaded car and they gave me an old base model one to drive. They are putting all of the efforts on me to make accommodations for their issues and they just keep blowing off my complaints.I am hopeful that filing an external complaint will help to initiate a response from them.Thank you.
