Date they had my car was in August of 2023 they still have my car and the manger will not talk to us it's not our fault they can't fix it or give it back to meBusiness response

Unfortunately,the vehicle sustained a deployed seat belt in the collision. It was ordered from ***** in September 2023. The seat belt was on backorder and not received until September 2024. The airbag system is still not functioning properly, and we are unable to release a vehicle that is unsafe to drive. Our goal is always to deliver the safest and most thorough repair as quickly as possible. However,parts delays (especially with airbag related items) are out of our control completely. The vehicle is currently at the ***** dealer to diagnose and correct the airbag system.Initial Complaint

I used my auto insurance advice by sending my car to Francis auto collision. Francis auto collision took over 50 days to get finshed with my car. I asked them if they would be responsible for the overages on my rental from Heartz Rental I paid a total of 600 I even asked if they would work with me. However they did not cover the expenses of the rental. I picked my vehicle and when I got home later that day I needed to use my air conditioner in the vehicle it didnt work. I was instructed by Francis auto collision to bring the vehicle back I asked for a rental they denied me again they kept my car for 2-3 days. I picked my car back up after they fixed the *** Then 2 weeks later I found out that they left my windshield wiper cord unplugged I asked, I was told that they would have to take my front bumper off again for the 3rd time, I was refused a rental car again. Some months after the car broke down again because of the initial work they did on the vehicle failed. They gave me a hard time talked to me bad and was rude to me. I funny got the manger after being ignored for several days I decided to go in person and get his attention. They fixed my car it took over a week I was offered a rental after having to explain my circumstances. Months later down the line the car broke down and the front tires were bald I could of lost my life Now *** of Fresno have my vehicle properly fixing their mistake that could of cost me my life. I asked Francis auto collision to cover my rental they denied me for a rental and now I have been struggling for transportation for 14 days I ask to speak to a manager he wont call me and the the girls in the front office that he wont be getting me a rental this time. I also asked for the owner to contact me they also denied me of that as well.Business response

The vehicle is currently being repaired by the local BMW dealership. After receiving confirmation that the issues were related to the original repair, we offered rental assistance to the consumer. The rental vehicle will be provided to the consumer until the repairs at the dealership are complete. In regard to the original repair, Francis Collision Centre does not offer rental policies, nor promise vehicle completions within a certain time frame. The European manufacturers typically take longer to supply parts, and extensive repairs such as this take longer than the average repair. Francis Collision Centre is not responsible for the 30-day max rental policy offered and paid for by the consumer to the insurance company.
