Is this Ca recovery group a part of ** Goverment or just a name.?I recieved a desengagemt letter on my email. Have no idea what to do about it.The investigator did get my keys to my storage unit that was in limbo from a mover.Review from Hue X

I just received a check from them and now they are nowhere to be found. I am having issues cashing this check and their number no longer works. Even the emails that they have used the in the past...All says no longer existed. I now believe we got scammed big time.Review from Juan G

Horrible company to do business with they will tell you that they will split 50/50 earnings with you and never pay due to some bs lie they come with theybwill lie to.younover the phone saying it is 50 50 and tell you something completely different after you sign contracts. They got my insurance to pay out **** insurance keep **** deductible so remaining was 580 which I was supposed to receive 50 50 from like they said. Now it comes out that it's a whole different story. Do not do business with these crooks. I'm lucky it was such a small amountReview from Marisol G

I think this Company is nothing but a team of liars and scammers, I've been lied over and over about a check they already cashed from MY ***************** ******************* and claimed they sent my check and they never did!! They lied from day 1 and kept lying, I have spoke with many different persons and all of them are a bunch of liars!! I'm so mad, upset and so very disappointe, I feel violated. I spoke with *******, *******, ******, ******* and many others and I felt I just wasted my time!! Even spoke with so call supervisor, ******* and she also lied to me!! I'm so upset and don't know how I let this Company scammed my insurance Company "Farmers" and scammed me too by believing in them. please be careful with this Scammer! I will go to the last consequences. I already opened a claim with the **** CRG you will hear from me through the California ********** of ********* and my lawyers, I will no waste my time with you anymore!! I warned ******* one more lie and I was going to report your fraudelant practices to the *** and to the California ********** of ********* and I will expose you on TV too!! *************************** has sent 2 notices to my neighbors so far teling them that they (California Recovery Group) can get them money for damages that their property may have sustained due to a very small fire in my back yard that was out in minutes.... "Your property may have been contaminated by the smoke produced by your neighborhood structure fire..."...Please contact ** for a free consultation...& will only get paid if we're successful in securing a financial reward."They are trying to get money out of my homeowners insurance company!!! They are nothing more than "ambulance chacers"!!!

I got an email from the BBB stating that the company replied to my comment. This is what they said: We respectfully disagree with the assertion that this complaint is valid. The concerns raised pertain to the language and tactics employed in our communications with other customers. While we highly value and carefully consider all feedback we receive, we maintain that this particular matter is irrelevant in light of this is public record information we have provided (no period by the way at the end)Sounds like lawyer speak to me....so in English: yes, we sent the letters to your neighbors because it's a matter of public record that you had a fire in your back yard & because it's a matter of public record, we are perfectly within our rights to solicit your neighbors to try & get money from your insurance company for smoke damage to their ************* get a cut of the money that we get them.aka ambulance chasers.Find another way to make money. While it may be perfectly "legal" for you to solicit business from my neighbors by trying to make insurance claims against my homeowners it is not, how should I state it, "right," "fair," here we go, "ethical" for you to do it. Didn't you take a vow to be ethical when you passed the bar exam? Oh wait, you're not lawyers. While you are "ambulance chasers," you are not doing it as a lawyer. Sorry, my mistake. Find a different way to make money AND STOP SENDING MY NEIGHBORS SOLICITATIONS THAT MAKE IT SOUND LIKE YOU WANT TO FILE A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST MY INSURANCE!!! California Recovery Group has been calling me endlessly from several different phone numbers. No matter how many times I block thier calls, they just call from another number. They often call several times in the same day.I don't know how to stop them.CA Recovery Group, Inc. Response
