I just received an issue of ***** sent to my home using my ex-sister-in-law's misspelled name as the addressee. I never subscribed to this, nor would she do this. I called *****, and they said it was a subscription paid for by check through a third party - this company, National Publishers. ***** stopped the issues and gave me a number to call to stop the subscriptions, but that number is disconnected. Not sure what to do at this point except file with BBB. I know my grandmother was hacked a few months ago through ********, and it was bad! Her money was accessed and for sure magazines subscribed to, but this is a first to have someone else's name as the recipient at my own address. Please get to the bottom of this!Initial Complaint

I am receiving the Vanity Fair Magazine that I did not order. I do care for this type of publishing and have NEVER bought or subscribed to this magazine. I called Vanity fair and they Live representative) stated that They could not cancel this because the order came from a "3rd party" and I would have to contact them. The 3rd party they provided me is: National Publishers Phone: XXX-XXX-XXXX. I called this number but was given a short recording and the call abrupt ended. I have yet to find the charge on any of my accounts but I am still looking. I did not order this and this is a complaint I see that many others have made. The subscription information# is VYF XXXXXXXXXX/5# with a ending date of Sep23 I do not want this, never ordered it and I am fearful of identity theft since they obviously scammed this subscription. I am refusing to pay for something I clearly did not order nor wanted. This is a vain magazine and I fear they are attempting to take advantage of women and senior citizens.
