Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/01/19) */ Contact Name and Title: ***** ***** Contact Phone: XXX-XXX-XXXX Contact Email: *********************** Mr. **** purchased a 2017 Porsche Macan Turbo from our dealership on 01/27/2021. The vehicle had 105,233 miles at time of purchase. Mr. **** was offered an extended warranty at time of purchase and declined. Mr. **** was fully aware the vehicle being purchased was sold AS-IS. During our pre sale inspection we did not find any fluid leaks on the vehicle and the only item that needed attention was rear brakes. See attached documents that prove Mr. **** understood the vehicle he was purchasing was sold as-is, he was offered an extended warranty and declined along with our inspection form and subsequent repair work order for the rear brakes. Mr. **** states in his complaint that we sold him the car with an oil leak that was discovered a month after his purchase and less than 1,000 miles. The first time we heard from Mr. **** regarding his oil leak concern was via email on 01/04/2022 at 12:18pm (almost a year later). His email "Thanks for selling me a car with oil leak. And no way, you guys didn't know about the issue. And by law a car like this isn't consider merchantable. I responded to Mr. **** via email on 1/4/2022: "Hi, Sorry to hear you have an oil leak with your vehicle. Would you like to bring it in for an inspection and estimate?" The next day I started getting multiple notifications from our google business listing regarding new reviews. Mr. **** created at least 10 google accounts and spammed our google review page with negative reviews. I reached out to Mr. **** via text message and phone call immediately. Mr. **** would not accept my calls but did finally respond to my text. I asked him why we should be responsible for his vehicle almost a year later. He states that he got his oil changed in Feb, 2021 and during that time the facility notified him of the oil leak. At no point did Mr. **** reach out to us in February, 2021 to notified us of his concerns. We feel if there really was an oil leak he would have called us then. I offered to split the cost of the repairs in our facility if he removes his negative reviews immediately and he declined to split cost nor remove his reviews. Mr. ****/s negative review spamming will cost our business substantial downfall and we now will no longer be offering any type of cost reduction or reimbursement to correct his concerns with his vehicle. The documentation uploaded is all the proof you need. Absolute clown show Consumer Response /* (3000, 8, 2022/01/20) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) $3XXXXX dollar shouldn't be sold in that condition in the first place. And who can see the leak with a cover under the engine. And I'm not the first person this business has **************** 1000 miles later is not alot and was only driven by my wife. Even he knew that it is a common problem with this car. And his own auto repair shop passed *** inspection so I wouldn't trust him to even fix jt. Because they didn't fix before selling it. I can upload all the reviews that all has same issue as I did. ***** said himself his wife is the champion of removing bad reviews. I'm sure the good reviews are all ***** This guy is a joke and everything that ***** out of his mouth is ********. This car is not consider ************ so as if document don't count. He doing his own inspection is cheating customers so I have file complaint with *** for them to ************ Business Response /* (4000, 10, 2022/01/21) */ Car was sold as is. Buyer declined warranty. Vehicle had zero issues when sold from us. Buyer has damaged our reputation by creating multiple google accounts to give negative reviews. We will not be assisting with any repairs. Bureau of automotive repair has reviewed our documents and has sided with us over the client and recommends no actions from Casey's Cars Inc. Consumer Response /* (4200, 13, 2022/01/24) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) *********************************************************************************************** Just for your info. There are requirements for it to work. And for your information bureau of automotive repair is not on your side. Because I don't think I got the car fixed over there ever. I purchased it. And your own shop passed *** inspection. Just wait until the investigation is done.
