Terrible experience Inbox **** ****** <**************************>May 10, 2024, 4:30PM (4 days ago)to stayclassy I want my money back This was a very unorganized venue. No security to ensure lines are not cut. Stay Classy via ******************************* May 12, 2024, 9:34AM (2 days ago)to me Both the event organizer and Events.com sent many advance notices to get people the Know Before You Go emails and links to the prohibited items pages to educate themselves before showing up... Unfortunately, on Friday there were a ton of attendees showing up with prohibited items, and all those confiscations by security guards take time and slow down the lines and on that day there was an unusually high number of confiscations. It is the event organizers prime duty to keep all attendees safe, and security has to be vigilant, but it also takes the attendees to do the right thing for their peers and not try sneaking in prohibited items which just slows down the lines for everyone else. But, we all hate lines too, and though we arent authorized to offer refunds for tickets that were used for entry, we have been authorized to offer you a complimentary ticket to the festivals final day today! Please reply to this email if you'd like to redeem your complimentary Sunday pass. --To keep up to date on Wonderfront happenings please download the official Wonderfront Festival app, where you can manage your schedule, access the map, and find the activations nearest you!We can't wait to see you at the next Wonderfront Festival! Thanks,Wonderfront Festival Team *************************** From: **** ****** <**************************>Sent: Friday, May 10, 2024 6:30 PM To: Stay Classy ************************************Subject: Terrible experience ...[Message clipped] View entire message **** ****** <**************************>May 13, 2024, 8:16AM (1 day ago)to Stay First of all. I didnt even get the change to use my 2 tickets for the Friday shows because of the disorganization and lack of supervision for the lines to get the wristbands. Also there were counterfeit being sold and some random guys tell attendees if they paid them x *** of money they will take them to the front of the lines to get wristbands. I have gone to Boots in the park, comic con, and other eventsTheir events were well managed especially comic ******* are you expecting me to accept your event managers inability to mitigate enviable situations that obviously they know would happen since you stated, Both the event organizer and Events.com sent many advance notices to get people the Know Before You Go emails and links to the prohibited items pages to educate themselves before showing up.But failed to properly prepare for it.Further more, Im dumbfounded by your assumption that other attendees would have their morals/integrity in check when attending these events. Do not want a complimentary ticket on mothers days.I am a mother of 2 and my family planned a family gathering for Mothers Day .I want my refund for my unused tickets **** ****** <**************************>May 13, 2024, 9:05AM (1 day ago)to Stay Also My husband is a disabled veteran There was no line or designated area for *** people to check in and get their wristbands. Business response

      10/22/2024

We provided a response directly to the complainant, letting her know that our lines were not longer than other comparable festivals for entry. In fact ours moved much quicker than many other SoCal area festivals, and it is just the nature of our industry that there will be lines for entry to any large festival, concert or sporting event at the busiest times when most people show up at once. However, even with that said, we offered a complimentary ticket to come back to the last day of our festival which she declined. We felt we handled the response expeditiously and fairly.
