Dec 20, 2022 purchased a 2018 Hobie Mirage Tandem Island package for $2,999.00. Delivery was to be performed in a few months. As of yet no delivery has occurred and company has not returned my requests for information. Their website has recently been removed, suspect company is out of business.Initial Complaint

I ordered a small Hobie Mirage sailboat with accessories as-advertised on ******* List. The company's website looked to be legit, so I didn't have any reservations about ordering. For this particular boat they requested that the transaction be carried out via text message. That seemed to be a little odd, but I felt like okay having protection from my credit card company. After placing th order I was told that I'd have a shipping date the following day. I never had any communication from Huskie Muskie after that point. Two calls to them went to an answering machine, and messages were not returned. There was no further response via text message or via their published email address to my inquiries. Finally the website went dead, and any remaining ******* List ads were deleted. I filed a fraud report and financial claim with my credit card company to report what appeared to be theft of funds by Huskie Muskie, and after an investigation the credit card company refunded my stolen funds. I just hope that whoever these crooks are they don't open another fraudulent company and try to again commit fraud against unsuspecting shoppers.Initial Complaint

On April 28, 2023 I paid Huskie Muskie $3,017.99 USD for a Hobie Island Tandem Kayak in yellow. The vendor provided pictures and generally was responsive. The kayak was supposed to be delivered to my house in ** on May 18, 2023. The week of shipping I reached out to both the shipper and Huskie Muskie looking for updates and received no responses. The kayak did not arrive on May 18, 2023 as in our agreement nor have I received any update on when it will be delivered.
