I made an escape room booking 8/8 at the ********* location QuestRoom at 8:30pm originally for Project Minotaur. The game master was able to change our room to the Red Giant however there was a steep price difference and game time duration that was not disclosed. I was hoping to receive some credits towards a future game. The room we paid for cost $553.19 and the new room we actually played was only around $250. When we asked to go back to Project Minotaur, the game master said it was fully booked however when we checked the online bookings, the room was still bookable for 8:30pm which is the time we were at the ********* location. The playing time for Red Giant is only 60 minutes whereas Project Minotaur is 100 minutes. We asked if we could at least get 40 minutes of playing time for a different room if not credits for a new room, however the manager ******* said no because during the phone call that is recorded, she said we were advised of the difference in price. If we had known there was a difference in price, we would not have the game changed. She also claims that the Project Minotaur game would not have sufficient time to be set up for us when we arrived for the game, however if the game is still bookable, you should still be able to provide that room.
