I have an account with ********************** for a while, my number is ************ with them. I stopped using its service due to my health problem but I didn't request closing my account. They requested top-up money and I have balance remaining in my account. Now they closed my account, without refund any of my balance and I didn't get any notice about the closing of my account. I believe it is illegal to forfeit other's money/deposit.Initial Complaint

My number ************ was STOLEN from FreedomPOP and is now with a DIFFERENT MVNO (MVNO Connect). NOBODY has done anything to resolve this matter, neither FreedomPOP nor MVNO Connect nor T-Mobile. FreedomPOP had no right to release my number without authorization. SOMEONE needs to resolve this matter or I will need to sue EVERYONE.Initial Complaint

Every single time my free plan expires, it is impossible to get it reactivated again in the mobile app. I just get an error message saying ""{"return_code":121152,"return_text":"It looks like your session has ended. Please restart the app and try again."}"I've already tried updating my phone, reinstalling the app, and doing everything but I still get the same issue. It's been months and I still have the exact same issue. The only way I can actually get my plan reactivated is if I file a formal *** complaint and then my plan is magically activated but only for a month then it deactivates and then I get the exact same error message. Why does this keep happening this is a known issue and I've had this for months with no fix whatsoever. I tried contacting via email and they are very slow and generally don't respond until I open a formal *** complaint.Initial Complaint

I have an account with ********************** with the following two lines of service: **************** and ****************. Freedom pop is requiring me to enter my credit card information every month and refusing to accept one of my credit card numbers. I keep getting "Code:1284 Message:Looks like this payment card is already linked to a different account. To proceed, you can either use a different card or log in with the account initially associated with this card. If you need any assistance or have questions, our Customer Support team is here to help!" error message. I called multiple times and can't get information on what different account has my credit card number. This is very concerning because I do not have another account and someone else might have my credit card number tied to their account.Initial Complaint

Hi there I recently purchased a freedompop SIM card from Target indicating that I could sign up for the free standard monthly plan which consists of 100 Minutes, 100 Texts, and 100MB of data. However, when I try to activate this plan using your activation website, the option to sign up for that plan is nowhere to be found. Can you please manually enroll me into that plan? I tried contacting your email support but I got no response from anybody.Initial Complaint

Sold and advertised a '100% FREE!' cell phone plan on *************** then automatically charges you if you use up most of your free plan minutes/data.If you don't 'upgrade' to a paid plan within <3 months of opening an account, they will simply cancel your line and take your number.Horrible dumpster fire of a scam/policy.Initial Complaint

I have two annual prepaid cellular data plans (1 gig per month) with FreedomPop; both have existed for several years. Each of these is current and was recently automatically renewed (3/3/24 and 4/1/24) by FP going to my Paypal account and taking the payment. Neither currently is working and I have no internet access. THREE TIMES in the past year this has occurred previously, usually on the first day of a month. In the past upon my reports they have remedied this after several days, and even on one occasion given a $20 credit. Since these most recent renewals however, it is occurring EVERY MONTH. Apparently their system has lost the ability to track annual prepayments and so creates a billing issue EVERY MONTH, suspending the accounts. Worse, this month the account renewed on March 3 has disappeared completely; it no longer exists in their system. Attached are screenshots showing the current accounts and their status. The last time (early March) I reported this problem, after five days (and a second email when they did not respond) they fixed one account and told me there was nothing wrong with the other, even though it showed no data used and none available. It took a third email with images (like the attachments) showing they were wrong to get the second account fixed. Clearly all they did was turn the accounts back on for the current month; the underlying issue of not recording and honoring my ANNUAL prepayments remains and has once again triggered a loss of service (and actually closed one of the two accounts). FP CUSTOMER SERVICE is terrible; no response to emails until the second or third contact and no support telephone number...Initial Complaint

The FreedomPop just stopped my cell phone services without any notice for the number which I have been used for twenty years, and I have tried to contact with them for two weeks to ask them to activate my number again, but no response at all. I have lots of important services with that phone number like tax, bank etc. Last month they were still charging the phone service fee, but without any notice my account was inactive and I cant make any call and text.Initial Complaint

I purchased a FreedomPop SIM kit from ******** which included a data, text and phone plan. There was no time limit/limitation on that plan.FreedomPop arbitrarily chose to cancel that advertised plan, and demanded I either upgrade to a new plan or buy a new phone from them, despite my current (new model) phone being compatible with their service. I don't have FreedomPop for my cell phone service or an account with them. I use a major company. I have been charged a $12.00 fee, which was automatically deducted from my bank account this ******. I want that fee refunded and my card information removed from the FreedomPop system.
