I bought jewelry from this place before. on 12/31/23 I stoped by to fix a necklace that this lady sold me and the gold chain changed color. she told that changed color because I wear too much according to her, charged me$20 to give a rodium coat on the chain. when I was waiting she showed me another necklace that I like it. she told me the price was $900 + $40 to polish because was just made it. this price was for cash payment to avoid paying for sale tax. I went to the nearest bank to get the cash when I comeback she run away from the store and told her husband that she gave me the wrong price on the necklace. when I was waiting to talk with her she called her husband phone and talk with me saying the price was wrong. she didn't have the decency to comeback to talk with me. I think this store is a scan business.she new that I really like the necklace and want to pay more money for it.Business response

To whom it may concerns,On 12/31/23.I have met ***** at my store,who asking the service of rhodium of her chain.I did show her a diamond lace as she shown interest.We came up a deal for $900.00+$40.00for polishing for paying cash as including tax price.As she went to the bank and I realized that the price tag of the necklace was misplaced.So I went to the manufacturer for verification of the actual cost of the piece and found out was a big mistake on the price.So I call ***** on the phone regarding on this matter and I sincerely apologized about what happened as I could not carry on proceeding the sale.I wish she could have waited for me coming back for further explanation and apologize but she have gone.Aftermath,I have followed up my my text message to her .I wish she could have understood my difficult situation and let go of it.She doesnt have to be so frustrated.Best regards to her!

The necklace ***** was interested in buying does not belong to me. The manufacturer brought me this necklace to sell to me. The necklace was new and not even polished yet. We had discussed $900 and an additional $40 for polishing. Since this incident occurred, I immediately returned the necklace to the manufacturer because of the misunderstanding. That day the manufacturer apologized to me and I have since apologized twice to *****. There is not much else I can do as the merchandise does not belong to me and I never received or accepted any kind of deposit from ***** for the necklace. It is very unfortunate that ***** took this misunderstanding so severely, but I have done my best to apologize and resolve the matter the best that I can. I regret there is not more I'm able to do, but I'm only a small business who has been in business for over 35 years. In my 35+ years as a small business, I have never had to deal with anything like this, which I believe is a testament to my business and business practices.
