I bought a pair of shoes size 9.5 they where too small so Sketchers said to order a 10 then send 9.5 back for as return. I received the 10 and it was to big. So I started a return on 10/3. They said all I had to do was box up put label on and take and drop them off at *** so that is what I did. Now *** never had to ship a a mugging back before to any company. Its now 11/11 I have no shoes and no refund. *** never sent. So now I have no shoes and Im out over 120.00$. Sketchers wont do anything. When I did exactly what they told me to do. I will keep sending reviews in on them till something is done. This is such poor customer service. I will keep posting bad reviews all over social media.Review from Robert C

I have a problem with Skechers slipins less than 90 days old. After contacting customer service I was told I should send them to be evaluated. If they didn't feel the shoes were defective they WOULD NOT BE RETURNED TO **. This isn't really what good customer service should be!Review from Alice P

Ive been purchasing sketches for the better part of the last 8 to 10 years however, recently I made a purchase online and one of the shoes that I bought were sandals and they hurt my feet. They didnt support my feet as was advertised on online. I started a return to send the shoes back because my feet need support and these actually did not provide support for my feet at all. I have very bad feet and have been using sketches, which was very comfortable most of the time. However a pair they sent was totally unsupportive and I had to return them. However, I saw on the website that they dont accept worn shoes. I wore them one time around the block. I called in to inquire and was told that I would be credited as it was evident that I just bought them, that the policy was for people who want credit after wearing them over a year. Fast forward that I never got a credit and called in. *******, the *** I spoke to first said they didnt have them when I had proof that they had. Then she said oh wait I see them here. Then she advised me that I wouldnt get my money back but a credit. I did not give them a credit, I gave cash. She said well we cant sell them now. I told her they shouldnt as they were not supportive as they said the were. They were defective. She proceeded to process a credit. However, they may have gotten my money all these years but Ill never buy another pair of sketchers. They want loyal customers but they are not loyal back. Good riddance to a company that does not take care of their customers.Skechers U S A, Inc. Response

As stated on our website, like you mentioned, we do not issue refunds to the original payment for items that are returned worn. However, if you have a quality concern, we most certainly can make exceptions. In this case since the shoes did not have enough support, we should have provided recommendations for other styles that might have been better suited for you. We have been buying sketchers since 2006. The latest shoes have hard pieces of white plastic sticking out of the heels. I thought they were staples at first but after cutting the cloth it was just bad construction. Two emails to customer service and not one answer.Review from John K

I had to return shoes for a refund due to defective materials. The return was received on August 27th at which time I requested an immediate refund. Instead I was given the usual company policy of three to five days which I did protest. It's now September 9th and despite several email contacts within the past few days, I still have not received any indication of my refund being processed. While the product Skechers is something I use regularly and find to be of high quality, their online customer service has been horrific on several occasions, not just this one.Skechers U S A, Inc. **** brand does not have same sizing as regular Sketchers. I purchased ************** Cat's Meow. I love the styling and the feel of the shoe. I wear a Sketcher's size 5 and my other Sketcher's fit perfectly. I have several pair of Sketchers; 3 pairs of Go Walk alone. I was so disappointed with the fit of ***** brand. They do not have the same fit. They are wider and and slightly longer. These shoes are fur lined and feel so nice but I have to wear socks while wearing them so they don't rub my foot because the shoe is too roomy. It fits more like a 5 1/2 or 6. I'm also wondering if I was sent a bigger size even though the box says 5. I can't see the size on the shoe itself. Currently I am trying to decide if I should keep them or return them. Normally I would just return them but I like the look and I could just wear socks. If your Sketchers fit you perfectly, I suggest you do not buy *****.Review from Tom A

I've been buying Skechers for the last couple of years after my fiancee turned me on to them. I have vertigo *** chronic pain in my knee and back. I always bought their slip on, non slip work shoes because my depth perception is affected by my condition. When I went to buy a pair on 6/25/24 no one was around to help me and I can't walk back and forth easily if my vertigo is bad. Looked for my pair and found none which designated wide. Looked at my shoe, just says "13" but not wide. But I remember them having it as wide somewhere. I try the shoes in the store. They seem a little narrower than I remember but I was able to get my foot in so thought they needed a brake. Put them on for work next day. After 2 hours I was on SO MUCH PAIN from the misfit I had to leave work and go home to put my worn put older pair on. I work a lot of hours so didn't get around till today to attempt a return. I explained the situation to the cashier. She said to hold on and that her manager said she CAN help me. Well she comes over and she's yelling at me; YELLING. She shouted they don't take returns for worn shoes, pointed to the sign and just walked off. I've been buying from Skechers for only a couple of years but I was buying 5-8 pairs a year. I feel like after all the money I spent they could spare me on the bean counting and show some pity for a low income but loyal customer. Instead I was treated like absolute garbage. Like "yeah that was yesterday, this is today, now s**** off". I expected some sort of help or appreciation for my business. You have my record probably to see. I have a membership with my email. But I guess customer loyalty means nothing anymore. If I don't get a resolution I'll have to do business with competitors instead like New Balance.Review from Matthew W

SKETCHERS IS A JOKE SIMPLY TRYING TO GET A REFUND. SPENT HOURS SPEAKING WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE AND E-MAILS BACK AND FORTH.In the end they essentially STOLE FROM ME $100 I went to business school and i've been 25 yrs in sales. THE FIRST PAIR SHOWED SIGNS OF INTERIOR FATIGUE WITHIN THREE WEEKS FROM THE DATE OF PURCHASE. I RETURNED THEM TO AMAZON AND THEY REPLACED THEM WITH THE SAME MODEL. BEFORE I RETURNED THE SHOES I CALLED YOUR OUTLET STORE IN ********, **. **** ** store. Big red signs buy one get 50% off second pair. Nothing about exclusions. Choose hands free slip ins and another brand. Sales representative rang up both at listed price. She was not sure why discount was not showing. Got the manager. Manager advised that slip ins (with red/orange dot) were excluded. This was false advertising. There was NOTHING in the store to tell you this.Skechers U S A, Inc. Response

We are so sorry to hear about your experience at our ****, ** store. Just for future reference, most of our promotions will have some sort of exclusions. The exclusions are displayed in smaller print on the banners and signs in each store. We will make it a point to advertise this to customers more clearly moving forward. Thank you
