On the original receipt, it states New, unused or defective merchandise purchased in Miniso stores may be returned or exchanged within 7 days of purchase at the original store. However, when I went to the store, they said that they are not able to exchange unless the merchandise is defective. We received this as a gift with the original receipt. The item that we wanted to exchange with was priced exactly the same ($17.99). The store manager said that their system will not allow the exchange transaction and it needs to be refunded to the original payment source, which wont help the situation because we received as a gift. I asked, why the receipt states that I can exchange within 7 days of purchase at the original store and the manager said, it is what the receipt says (blamed the company) but their system doesnt allow. I believe its language/practice is very deceptive and unclear. If their system does not allow exchange, it should not list exchange as an option.
