On July 21 2021 I purchased a $70 pair of jeans from a Lularoe seller. I wore the jeans about 3 times and washed each time. On the 3rd washing the seam came apart it did not rip, tear or was pulled loose it just came unsewn. When I sent pics and asked about an exchange which is all I wanted I was told that I needed to go to a drycleaners to get them to fix it. She informed me that I was way past the warranty period of 6 months but I was within the six months as I contacted her on Dec 14th. I then went directly to Lularoe for help and they wanted an original receipt which I sent them a screenshot of my bank account where the transaction took place and a screen print of the purchase on Sonlet.com. I was rewarded with a response that I needed the original receipt which is an email stating that you paid for an item which after I receive the item I delete.Business response

Customer bought an item on sale with no refunds or exchanges. I am simply a re-seller of LuLaRoe. LuLaRoe is the one who has the guarantee, not me. No different than if you buy an ** refrigerator from *********** ********** doesn't fix refrigerators. ** does. ********** has nothing to do with **'s policies and procedures. Same here. Her problem is with LuLaRoe, not me. I did exactly what I was supposed to do--she ordered an item, she received the item, and now, she's claiming that the item was defective. After wearing it and washing for months, she's now claiming defective. She needs to call the manufacturer, not the re-seller. I have explained all of this to her, but unfortunately, she feels entitled to a different response. There is no different response.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:According to Lularoe's website the guarantee against defective clothing is for 6 months. The seller has agreed to those terms when she became a consultant. My claim was within the 6 month period. If she wants to resend the purchase receipt I will take it up with Lularoe which they have said that if the consultant will not back the guarantee then they will with a receipt for the purchase.Business response

Customer is incorrect in telling me what's in my contract. Your beef is with LuLaRoe, take it up with them. You are complaining to the wrong person. You've already been provided with all the information I have. I will no longer respond to your outlandish lies and ignorance of what is required of me as a re-seller. I've tried helping you several times, but your emails are rude and you refuse to listen to the information you have been given. You do not get to decide my own shop policies as a re-seller. Again, your beef is with the manufacturer, everything I've done has gone 100% exactly as it should. You didn't even give me the courtesy of an email after speaking with LuLaRoe to see if I could help further. Some people just feel entitled to more than they contracted for, this is one of those instances. My work with you is done and has been done since your last order. You are barking up the wrong tree. Quit hassling me or I will file a restraining order and speak to my attorney about libel charges. You cannot say whatever you want, you can only say the truth, and you are lying when you say I have a contract with LuLaRoe that says I must do more. I don't. LuLaRoe is the manufacturer and it's their manufacturer policies and procedures that you have a problem with. Not mine.Customer response

I have provided pictures also email and LLR policy is online and visible for anyone to see. Please ****** with your attorney because it is all in print what has been said. I heard no response from you after my last email to you. I haven't slandered you at all and seems we live in different states you threatening me with a restraining order is a little out there....but go right ahead you are not worth the trip to me. You not caring about your customers should be more of a concern for you. You work for a company that has a policy that per the company website ALL CONSULTANTS are to strive for the happiness guarantee or the warrantyBusiness response

I'm sorry that you can't seem to get it through your head that LuLaRoe offers the guarantee, not the re-sellers. Your premise is false and I don't know how to make it any clearer to you. I do not work for LuLaRoe. LuLaRoe is a wholesaler. LuLaRoe guarantees the product. LuLaRoe has the policies and procedures you're complaining about. I served you extremely well, you ordered the item, I sent the item promptly and you have acknowledged its receipt. I offer guidelines within my own shop that are months later than you're trying to get credit for, which is why I am sending you to the manufacturer, which is LuLaRoe. Once again, their phone number is ************.I am not in charge of LuLaRoe, nor do I make any of their policies and procedures. If you cannot provide what they are asking for, ask them what else they can do. That's the best advice I can give you, but you continuing to hassle me through BBB is unacceptable. You can reject my answers all you want, but they won't change. You have this idea of how things "should be" run that is not accurate nor contractual. I fulfilled my contract with you. You need to speak with LuLaRoe if you're unhappy. Just because you keep repeating yourself will not change the policies in place with LuLaRoe. There is nothing else I can do for a person who refuses to listen to facts. Call LuLaRoe, take it up with them. Stop leaving messages on the WRONG BUSINESS.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:Not really rejecting just asking for copy of invoice or receipt. I wanted replacement not money... spent a lot of money in your shop and never had a complaint. You can plainly see it is a defective seam and I have already ordered another pair so copy of receipt would be great!
