      I got an install in May of ************************************************************************************************ provide compensation and had told nothing but lies . I contacted ******* in August who was helpful at first providing material and was gonna cover the cost of the install . When I talk to the installer they wanted me to go to he told me that I should not go through with it because ******** quality has gone down hill over the years and Im gonna get the same results from him I got from the last merchant and even tired upselling me some Italian leather seat covers he said had better quality I turned him down and then he said he was booked a month out and never received any material from ******* nor heard anything about it . The warranty guarantees I would get leather seats as a factory fit but all I got were terrible cheap seats with wrinkles and creases and manufactured defects . Have emails from katskin that prove it was a bad install and had material defects . I talked with the field rep today *********************** who was nice and apologized but wasnt very helpful . I ended up trading the car but before the was never honored due to the indtaller the wanted to send me too just stone walked me and talked down about their products and really didnt try helping sit my appt up . Some type of compensation should be offered instead of a Im sorry tough one you just have to live with it . Im not happy about this its **** down the drain with zero help half the job was done right so half the refund is what Im looking for . Attached are just a few pics some I could not upload due to file size . I also have emails from them saying the install was bad and had manufacturers defects .

      1. I was told I was being set up for installation at an area an hour away from me then turns out I had to go a hour and a half for drop off and pick up.2. After getting it back I noticed black clothe sticking out in both corners of my front seat.3. I have Grandbabies so I have to use car seat anchors and the material around 2 of the anchors was squished up and a mess. 4. The leather was not smooth and had multiple areas with wrinkles Ive never had any of my previous vehicles seats wrinkle like that.5 I was told it would look like it came from the factory installed like that. It does not and Im extremely disappointed.. I am disabled with a rare form of muscular dystrophy and this had made things very hard on me.

      I ordered a interior from this company and the price was $2027.65 after seeing who they were making install it I called that company directly and asked what the price is for the same exact one I had just ordered. They said **** plus tax out the door not plus a $600 installation fee. That included there fee. So it would have been cheaper to go to the installer directly which makes no sense. I asked katzkin to cancel which the email says you can up until its processed fully or cut which it was only a day after or less. Spoke to the lady who said she will check if its been cut cause then I wont have to pay the $500 cancellation which I also was never warned about. I saw something about them telling everyone about it on call but they do not tell you any of that or anything of that nature actually. Its all recorded they say just Incase. But I was never told it. Either ide like to cancel and Ill just buy the same thing from installer and he can order on his account from you or credit me the like $527 difference if possible please. They also tried to tell me its extra for the side panels my rep did. But installer said thats all included in the **** they charge for everything.

      03/09/2023 Ordered leather for my car. This is supposed to be genuine leather but it is faux leather. I paid nearly **** for this and the smell has made me sick along with horrible headaches and fatigue. They also told me I cant use leather cleaner on this leather, why not??? I don't understand why i cant clean it with leather cleaner but upon reading further,its not real leather and will cause color discoloration

      To recap our conversation. Our interiors meet or exceed OEM leather content. What was installed in your vehicle has the same amount of leather or more than what you would have purchase from the dealer. Our leather is pretreated during the dying process so that you do not need to apply any leather cleaners. I have attached the links to our website that go into further detail.

      I just had a surgery. This isnt even a thought because something else I am dealing with since I got my car back is the install guys must have messed my head rest up in the front because its permanently in a locked arch position making it super unbearable to drive. 


      Im so disgusted with my whole experience.

      On or about 13 March 2023, I called katzkin about getting leather interior in my truck. The verbal contract agreed upon was that my trucks cloth seats and side panels would be replaced with leather - all of this was to be done by the installer on the installation date. The installer did not install the leather side panels and only gave them to me after I asked. They told me to call katzkin to have the leather side panels installed because katzkin did not authorize the installation of them. I called katzkin about the side panels and other issues I had with the installation such as metal parts showing and plastic trim not properly put back in place. Ive called katzkin, texted the person that I was dealing with, sent pictures, etc. on or about 4 April 2023, I was told that the installer would reach out to me and that a katzkin supervisor would call me. I havent received another call from either party. At this point, what was agreed upon was not completed, what was paid for wasnt completed, and Im going to lose another day of work if it ever gets fixed that I didnt initially agree to.

      ******** called in said he was upset that his kit was not installed correctly and the doors were not installed. Said that we did not fulfill our agreement. I asked him to send me pictures and I will get with our tech. Per our tech driver seat can be adjusted, rear armrest has the strap hole too big, so I will send replacement. Our installer at Carspa said he will call customer when he gets the part and we'll pay for doors to get installed. When I called ******* back he said he did not want to go back to Car spa, I offered ******, but he said it was too far. I offered him compensation, but he did not want to drive 2 hours. I asked him if he was willing to go back to Carspa if I can get him more money back and he said he will think about it. I offered a higher amount, and he agreed. ****** has customer scheduled to take his vehicle back on 6/30/23.

      The stitch isnt right on the front seat and the padding on the driver side was not padded so now it is getting flat and wrinkled. I was told I was supposed to replace that when I asked up front to build it up. I had another vehicle where they had to replace and rebuild that part and they did it then but saying they dont now. Whoever did the installation scratched the inside of my back driver door. I just want what I paid for and they need to fix the scratches too.

      Had heated leather seats installed by an installer in *************. Had issues with heated seats not working so I went to another upholstery person in ************* to fix the problem and was not fixed yet again. Had to go to a third installer who claimed the wiring set up was all wrong and that it had posed a huge fire hazard due to a short in a wire which I also expressed to Katzkin as a concern. Overall, I'm infuriated that my safety was overlooked due to the incompetence of two different installers and no offering of compensation to the company.

I am just asking them for technical info about their product which MIGHT be causing an allergy problem for me. I have not received any reply. The attachments are: 1)the basic email 2)Info from my doctor about my possible issue 3)Info on the product supplied to me after purchase At this point, all I want is an honest effort to answer my question.       I had my interior on my Chysler 300s changed from all black to Cardinal red and Back. Everything looks great front to back. Center console in front and rear seat two tone like the seats, door arm rest not so. They remain all black like the original colors; however, they was changed. I can tell by the stitching. I called immediately after picking up my car from installation. I was told that I would receive a call from the warranty department. No call 1 weeks later. I called again, and spoke to my original sales representative. He told me the same thing. I called him back, and 3 weeks they tell me that there's nothing they can do about it, as if the mistake was made on my end. If I had my seats changed to red, why would I want my door arm rest black, when they were already black to begin with?

      I purchased leather two toned seats for my 2013 Ford F150 XLT Super Crew Cab color Salsa Red and Sand, two weeks after installation I discovered a flaking or a peeling on my rear seat so I contacted Katzkin because they assured me of a 3 year warranty on the seats against fading, defects etc, I sent pictures of my issue and they assured me that the warranty department would contact me, I have made several calls and emails and still have not got a response. I paid the price they ask for and I love my seats but having this issue two weeks after installation and not getting any assistance in resolving the matter is not good business and poor customer service. I simply need my seats replaced, repaired, discounted or something. The three year warranty was the main reason I made the decision too purchase. Please assist me in getting the quality of product that I paid for, I am reasonable but I need cooperation and communication from Katzkin.
