On March 9, 2023, I was treated for an upper respiratory infection by Doctors on Duty. They didn't accept payment at the time and refused to provide me with a statement, which I specifically asked for at the time. I assumed it would be taken care of by my insurance. Indeed, according to my insurance company (see attached EOBs), the payment was taken care of and I owe nothing. My insurance company specifically states in the attached EOBs that I am not responsible for the charges. However, Doctors on Duty sent threatening bills charging me for amounts which were not approved by my insurance (nor by myself). I called their billing staff, but they declined to remove the charges. I paid the amount they asked because they threatened to send it to collections, but I want a refund.
