Drip fitness has charged my account after my membership was canceled. It has been almost 30 days of me calling, texting and I also went to the location to rectify this. The staff ensured my refund of $162 would be back in my bank account 3-5 business days. However when this did not occur they stated they do not know why and are still trying to refund my account. This has created frustration and as a previous loyal member it should not take multiple calls to fix unauthorized charges. The billing practices for The Drip are unorganized and unacceptable. I am still trying to resolve the matter.

In May 2023, I signed a one-year contract with The ************************** in *******************, which is now Drip Fitness . Two weeks before my contract was set to expire, a staff member named ******* called me into the office and informed me that she would cancel my contract. She advised me to check back in a couple of months if I wanted to rejoin. Following this, I noticed that my charges had stopped. However, in June 2024, I was unexpectedly charged again. I never signed any agreement to extend my contract or continue my membership. When I tried to contact The Camp Transformation, I discovered that the business had shut down and was now operating under new ownership as Drip Fitness of *******************. I did not sign any contract with this new entity. When I explained that my contract was supposed to have been canceled, they informed me that ******* had only put my account on hold, which I never authorized. They are now claiming that I owe a $299 cancellation fee and intend to charge me $40 a week for eight weeks, based on the alleged hold that extended my contract without my consent. This situation is unfair and unjust, and I request your assistance in resolving the issue and preventing these charges.Additionally, I am concerned that other members might be facing similar bullying and extortion tactics. I request that action be taken to ensure justice for all affected members. Since the last time the *** reached out to them, I have received 15 emails and 6 calls threatening to send me to collections (which I will contest). This harassment needs to be addressed and stopped. *** asked to be removed from their contact list, but I continue to receive calls from new trainers with no information, making the situation feel even more unorganized and like bullying.
