On June 10 2021, I purchased a red Shipping Container from ****** ***** ******* from Linkem Transport. We needed to move out to our newly bought land, but in the middle of transporting our properties we ran out of space so I decided to purchase another S. Container. I texted the company asking for another container, I was told that I would required a $1500 deposit because there were people ahead of me and to keep my place in line. I explained to him we’re in the middle of moving and I didn’t want to keep paying rent, so we needed to be out by the end of the month. He said “I should have to you in a week or two”. On 07/06/21 I Zelled him $500, I told him it would take 3 days to get the rest of the money. On 07/07/21 the 2nd $500 was sent and on the 8th the 3rd $500. On 07/19/21 I asked him if he had the container yet, He said “No, i’m working on yours”. I told him it’s getting close to the end of the month and we need to move out. On 07/30/21 he said he found one and he will pick it up tomorrow, Tomorrow came and gone. On 08/6/21 which was a Fri. he said “I’ll pick one up on Tues.”. Tues. came and gone. On 08/10/21 I ask for a refund, because he was taking forever and he said he’ll send it tomorrow. To make it short, refunding the money was the same way with the container. On 08/19/21, he says, “I have a container and can deliver tonight or give me until Mon. to paint it.” Tues. 08/24/21, he said will deliver Fri.. I told him “Fri., it was supposed to be here Mon..” Then he said “ I never told you I have it.” I told him just refund me asap. He was charging me for the paint when he offered to paint it too. I have everything documented via text messages. He started ignoring my text until I went to ask a cop for advice and told me that it was a fraud. I told him that and he returned $500. He stopped answering my text. I did other things with family. On 06/28/22, I finally found his address. I told him I’ll report him to “BBB”. He said “Go Ahead!”.Business response

I had spoken to her and let her know that since she had canceled the order her deposit of $500 was nonrefundable I also let her know that the paint was $200 and there was a restocking fee was $300. So as far as I’m aware I don’t believe I owe her anything.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:
That is a lie, I have everything in text messages form. He never said anything like that. I did wanted the container but he has no intention on delivering it. I just wanted my money back. He's just saying that right now because he was found. Also $500 nonrefundable, who would agree to that? He said, he would refund me then just ignore me. Like I said, I have everything in text messages. I showed it to him and just ignored me. The paint, he offered to paint it, then why will he will charge me. It's in the messages too. I will send you the text messages separately.Business response

Look there is a restocking fee and paint that you deny but I can Zelle you $600 today to close this matter.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:
He responded to me on the text messages that he will reimburse so many times. But really wasn't intending to do so. When he got the container, I told him that he can still deliver and get this thing behind us. He refused and told me he doesn't want to deal with my ass no more. He also told me that once he sold the container he would reimburse me again but never did. If he refuse to pay me in full like he promised, my next step is to the court.
