      Five of our family had lunch at Margaritas restaurant on Saturday 4/8/23. We were never told gratuity would be added to our bill. Typically its a party of 6 or more and server or hostess advises of this. Or it is in the menu advising customers of this. In addition to gratuity being added, a tax on the gratuity total was added as well. As a consumer I feel totally taken advantage of. A restaurant should be fully transparent on their charges, Margaritas was not. I respectfully ask to be refunded in the amount of $32.55.Its the principle of honest business practices and Margaritas Restaurant needs to follow these guidelines, as other businesses do.

      Greetings, we have taken the time to address the issue our customer had brought to our attention. Now we're making a follow-up to discuss our response. We talked about the purpose of the complaint and the return of the customer's funds. In addition, we explained that the transition to our new POS system had been in progress, and some staff still needed to familiarize themselves with our new operating procedures. 

      We at Margarita's *** & Grill are dedicated to giving our customers a positive experience when dining with us. We look forward to preventing this issue from happening again to any other customer and appreciate any future feedback on our service and practices. 

      To resolve the issue of server unfamiliarity, we have established training and assistance for our servers and management staff using the new POS hardware and software. We have also reviewed the policies on the menu, so our team can inform the customer of our policies.
