On 9/7/2021 I purchased a 2017 4runner ****************************** Dodge Jeep Ram. As part of my finance requirements, my insurance had to be verified. Due to USAA having a policy that they won't speak with third parties I contacted them on speaker phone from the dealership.' At this time they were advised that I purchased a 2017 4runner, and my 2018 Tacoma was traded in. I confirmed information and the call was ended. On June 23, 2022 I was cut off in traffic and wrecked my 4runner. USAA was contacted and a claim was initiated. USAA arranged for a rental car and told me that they would make sure I had a rental through this process and that they checked my coverage to make sure there was such coverage. I was told I was covered, it was confirmed. I was asked several times what vehicle was involved, and I stated the "4runner". On Monday the tow yard holding my vehicle called and told me the insurance company would not cover this vehicle because it is not insured. I immediately contacted the company and advised them of the incident, and they CONFIRMED that I do have insurance on a 4runner. They then Confirmed the color of the vehicle which is red. I told them that someone called the tow yard and refused to cover it, I was put on hold for a long period of time and then told I do not have coverage on 4runner, I have coverage on a Tacoma. The Tacoma was silver. After that point my claim was denied, and I was told I would be responsible for additional rental cars fees but they would cover until this point. Since then I have requested them to review the taped phone calls to confirm I changed coverage and they continued to deny the claim. They were sent the application for registration which states the Tacoma was traded for the 4 Runner and still to this date I am being billed for a Tacoma. I have spent hours on the phone with this company with no resolution and a plethora of wrong information. To date, almost a month later after hours of phone calls my 4runner is not covered
