In mid-March 2024, my boyfriend ***, his sister ********, and I visited Crunch Fitness. *** frequently faces issues with ****, a manager at the gym, despite having a valid membership. On this visit, *** asked another employee, *****, about ***** role, and mentioned ****** unhelpful behavior. After our workout, **** followed us to the parking lot and approached us while we were getting into our car, which we found highly unprofessional and intimidating. I wrote a Yelp review, filed a complaint with Crunch, and contacted the CEO, but felt no resolution was achieved. A few days later, ******** reported that **** approached her aggressively at the gym, asking about me, which we found frightening. We are concerned about Lunas behavior and its impact on our gym experience. Our hope is that this matter is addressed promptly to prevent further issues.

I signed up for a kids club membership I think it to my card after a little bit I had a situation with fraud so I had to cancel that card. To keep my Crunch fitness membership. I ended up attaching it to my bank account directly, and I thought that the kids club membership would transfer automatically that it was a part of the same bill now about two years later, they finally confront me about this. Told me that they havent been getting paid for their bill. This is the first Ive heard of this and theyre telling them that I owe them about 400 500 bucks and *** told them why havent they approached me about this beforehand now theyre asking me to pay all this money when they couldve brought it to my attention right away, I barely use service on occasion but I do go to the gym often and they couldve contacted me numerous times instead of waiting to until this point. Its been about two years now. They told me I cant cancel my kids club membership until I pay the bill, which means that theyre continuously charging me and expect me to pay that bill as well as pay every single month, I live a pretty strict budget and the fact that they ambushing me with a bill like this instead of talking to me beforehand I find ridiculous especially because they wont let me cancel that which means that theyre gonna keep charging me until I pay this off, which means my bill is gonna only get bigger , Theyve cornered me with this. And now they said that theyll send the bill to collections. Which collections I know drops small bills, but because theyre continuously charging me its only a matter of time until the bill gets big enough to take me to court. I just want them to drop the bill because if I didnt pay any other service, then they would stop giving me that service whether its a utility bill or a phone bill if I dont pay they shut my service down and as far as this goes, CRUNCH has waited for this bill to accumulate for almost 2 years without one call or email.

I recently signed up for a month to month gym membership 18 days ago around the 18th of march. I got a free week so my card wasn't charged until around the 26th of march. Well I used it twice because the parking was horrible due to homeless and unauthorized college student parking as well as lack of equipment. Anyways I called today and told the Manager **************'d like to cancel. He told me I could not cancel for 60 days and would have to pay the annual dues upon cancelling since they're due 60 days into the membership. Which is true, c ugh gives you two months trial to decide if you like it before they charge you for the year. Well there is no waiting period to cancel. It's a cancel anytime month to month contract no waiting period to cancel and no obligation to pay the annual fee if you're not using it beyond the 60 days. I called 5 local locations and spoke to their managers as well as the assistant manager at the location im complaining about and all agreed that I should be able to cancel now. Well the manger won't cancel. It seems he's trying to strong arm me to get the annual dues and this is totally unethical and goes against the contract. I went in and the assistant manager initiated the cancellation but it must be finalized by the manager which takes seconds but he won't do it. My next billing cycle is on the 26 th of this month and I want to cancel before it's due. I cannot cancel at any other location since this is my home gym. I'm stuck by someone who is hustling me. The contract states I can cancel at anytime and there's no financial obligation unless I have upcoming dues within 30 days then that is what I owe and nothing more. No cancellation fees or anything it's month to month.

I canceled my crunch membership in May 2022 of which I received a confirmation email. I noticed that crunch has continued to deduct monthly fee from account since I received the cancellation noticed. ******* manager ****** informed me that I would not be eligible for a refund because she saw two accounts. I informed her that how would I know that I had two accounts if I walked in the gym at the instruction of the rep to complete my account. She said a transfer was never done and that I should of canceled my account at the ** ****** gym. After contacting ** ****** I was informed that she was not the General Manager even though she told me that she did not have to information for any managers above her and that district manager comes in at his leisure. ** ****** manager said that ******* is responsible because a transfer was not completed nor was I informed to cancel with ** ******* My accounts reflect that I was only being charged once a month not twice so as outside customer I would not have a clue that I had two accounts.
