On 8/30/23 I went into Marco muffler located at ********************************* My check engine light was on, I asked for it to be inspected to see what was wrong. I was told by an employee by the name of *** that Ill need a new catalytic converter, lower gasket, upper gasket, an upstream. The fix would cost no less than $2000 but h*** do me a deal. I paid $1625.13 for parts, kept my car and was going to bring it back Sept. 11th or whenever the parts arrive. Sept. 4th comes Im driving my vehicle and my check engine light goes off. I returned to Marco Muffler for a refund, and was told I can only have 30% of my money back not the whole refund. I was never serviced or reimbursedBusiness response

On date 8/30/23 The customer Tyler ************************ came in and purchased these parts, paid for them, and signed the invoice. Everything on the invoice states 30% re - stocking fee. These parts were special ordered from our vendor. Marco Muffler policy is that anything special ordered needs to be paid for upfront in order to place special order parts on order, and customer is made aware of procedure at time of purchase. I'm confused as to why this customer does not think this applies to him, when he provided signature on purchase.
So Mr. ************************ can decide what he would like to do. Pick up purchased parts, or pay 30% re - stocking fee to return parts. I would also like an apology to *** at Marco Muffler Auburn and BBB to show this complaint resolved in a positive written manor.
