S***** bait and switch dealer. Responded to online offer on a car. They verified over the phone that they had the car and would honor the internet price. When we got there, they would not honor the price. Said between the time I called and time I got there (10) minutes later, they added some bs technology package. I left. 25 min later I looked again. They lowered the internet price. I called again and verified both pieces of info again. I stupidly went back. You guessed it, they would not honor thier own listing on autotrader. The car I bought had catastrophic internal failure that I bought less than three months ago theyre not honoring anything they took my *** that was worth $30,000 as a trade-in, holding the title to both cars and not willing to work with me on repairing the jaguarKarplus Warehouse, Inc. Response

FACTS OF THE CASE:1-On 7/15/2023, or about 5 months ago, the complainant came to our dealership and offered to trade her 2018 *** 4 Series to purchase a 2014 Jaguar ******* ****************** approved the financing of the Jaguar;2-At the time of the trade, she owed a balance with a finance company called ****************** Services (CPS), which the dealership paid accordingly;3-After paying off her trade-in, the finance company mistakenly sent the title or pink slip direct to her, but she failed to turn over the title to the dealership in accordance with law;4- Thereafter, she defaulted in her first payment with ****************** and subsequently withdrew the financing approval;. We informed her of the situation and requested her to come to the dealership to sort things out and pay the past due installment. . Despite repeated demands, she failed to pay her obligation, so the dealership LAWFULLY REPOSSESSED the Jaguar;5-Thereafter, she implored that she be allowed to keep the Jaguar and continue financing with Westlake, promising to comply with the payment schedule;. ****************** agreed again to continue financing the Jaguar.6--Thereafter, she again defaulted in her first payment and as a result thereof, ******** Financial returned the deal again to the dealership;7- Thereafter, we demanded payment of her past due installments, but again, she failed to do so. The dealership was left with no recourse but to cause the SECOND REPOSSESSION of the JAGUAR within the span of 4 months! ! Please take note that all this time, she still had the title to the trade-in vehicle which CPS Financial mistakenly mailed to her, and despite repeated requests and demands, she refused to surrender the pink slip ;8- After the second repossession, , she decided to pay-off the balance owed on the Jaguar, but upon pay-off, she decided to cancel the comprehensive warranty that she previously purchased ;9-On or about November 17, 2023, she contacted the dealership and said she had car problems in the **************;10-As she has cancelled her warranty, the dealership offered help by way of introducing her to an authorized repair facility that will charge her cost, that will; be less than what would be ordinarily charged, but she refused, stating the dealership should repair the vehicle.All told, may we reiterate that we are not holding the title to her trade-in vehicle as she alleged in her complaint. On the contrary it is her who is holding on to the title which was mistakenly sent to her by the finance company, and for which we are now pursuing lawful means to make her legally accountable for refusing to turn in the title.Secondly, we were willing to work with her in fixing the issues on the Jaguar despite knowing that we sold her a vehicle in good running condition 5 months ago , that she voluntarily cancelled her extended warranty, and even if we are unaware of the manner on how she used and operated the Jaguar while in her possession or what maintenance procedures she followed the past several monthsReview from Ramon R

I passed by Karplus Warehouse to check out some cars. I got there and was greeted by a Salesman names ****. He showed me around and was patient with me. I wasn't planning on buying but guess what! First and last time buying a used vehicle. I was robbed over priced garbage van which didnt passed the smog and no mechanic wants to touch it since its a prophane. I voluntarily returned it back to the lender and now collections are after me. Besides failed the smog., i have additonal repairs that cost me a lot of money. Went back to the dealer and said theres nothing they can do, its between me and the lender.Review from Adrian D.

Dishonest and shady business practices, no concern for customers satisfaction, deceitful sales tactics and swindling.BEWARE OF THEIR FLOOD DAMAGED VEHICLES. BEWARE OF THEIR FORCED OPTIONAL ADD-ONS BEWARE OF THEIR FALSE ASSURANCES BEWARE OF THEIR DECEITFUL TACTICS GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING.The truck I bought from this place, I was told before I purchased it that it had been checked out thoroughly by a mechanic and there were no problems found. Not even a week later it overheated, not even ***** miles. **** I called Karplus Warehouse they told me that they would have their mechanic check it out and when I said I couldn't drive it they offered to have it towed. That never happened. **** I got it to a mechanic I was told that the thermostat was not opening and the radiator fan was not running. My calls and messages since to Karplus have nearly all gone unanswered. I bought that truck on December 11th 2022 and it's been in the shop for more than half the time I owned it. This is only the start of my complaints. I'm going to go as far as I can to warn others about this businessKarplus Warehouse, Inc. Response

I tried to go to Karplus warehouse to solve the issue with them and they told me just to use the warranty that I bought with the truck. Guess what? The warranty wasn't even active yet. I have about $5000 dollars of my own money in repairs that I had to make to the ************ still have all of the receipts. $20,930 original price, when all was said and done it went up over $30,000 for a broken truck that costed me an additional $5,000 in repairs, lost wages from being unable to get to work, more towing fees, stress and brand new anxiety diagnosis. And when you contact them don't expect actual help because that was the first thing I did before all of that trouble I went through. Just go elsewhere to a more legit business and save yourself from having to deal with a similar situation.Review from David V

Purchased a used truck in good faith. Less than 100 miles later, overheated and took it to the mechanic. Advised it had a cracked head gasket and that issue pre-dated the sale of the vehicle, I just didn't drive it far enough on the test drive to see the issue myself before buying it. Karplus warehouse refuses to take responsibility or provide any kind of resolution, other than offering to have me pay more for their service center to fix the problem.Review from Gia L

Bought 2 vehicles at dealership before, and 2 months ago, my son is in a market for the vehicle, so we go looking for one online as well as visiting different dealership that is shoving ** mark up up to 15k for brand new as well as 7k of accessories which they are firm, so forget about brand new. Moving on to used a used car which is mostly all the same in my region which is *****, they all add accessories amounting to upwards of $5000, ridiculous. After a month of stress finding, we end up buying a car from Karplus again as they also have accessories but minimal amount, plus I negotiated on it and at the end of the day, still the best deal Compared to all the other dealership I have been too. I could not give 5 stats because of this added stuff, which is I guess the new norm in car dealership, but never the less, I could sleep well knowing I got a great deal and my son happy, thank you Karplus to be fair here.Review from James M

I came from 4 hours away because I couldn't find the car I was looking for anywhere around my area. This place had the car I was looking for and surprised to see it was almost 4k below market value, they had some add ons which they work with me on them at the end of it all the car still came out being under market value which is hard to get now a days. Need negative stars. We drove 3.5 hours to this dealership because the price on their website was $10,000. They also had it listed on carfax website for just under $10,000. We already had financing secured before we drove down there. When we sat down to draw up the documents they tried to give us an out the door price of $14,500 siting some fictitious anti-theft-system they had installed. They were also saying they needed to start the financing under them and they we could switch it to our own bank later. This place is super shady. Talk about hidden fees. They tried the old bait and switch. I would not wish this dealership on my nicest enemy, but maybe on my worst. Please do not waste your time.
