My (now) husband and I hired ****** to coordinate our wedding, which was set for 10/01/22. We had never met her, but were excited to be working with her. After submitting the final payment ($1100), ****** informed me via email that she would not be coordinating our wedding due to personal reasons. She said that she would have her assistant fill in for her the day of. We were disappointed to receive this news, however, with 30 days until our wedding, we felt that we didn't have any other option. I was also comforted when she said that we would be working with her assistant. I assumed that they had worked together before and knew each other. We heard very little from ****** after this, and she did hardly anything to help coordinate the day. Later, we learned from her "assistant" that she was hired from Indeed.com for a meager $20/hr. and that she had never actually met ****** before. We essentially paid a hefty "middle man" fee. After the wedding, we submitted a complaint saying that we did not receive what was promised per her list of services that she claims to provide. She lists about 16 services that are included per contract, and we received approximately 3 of these. We did not receive a sit down meeting, a venue walk through, assistance with creation of a timeline, and many others. After submitting the complaint, ****** was very difficult to get ahold of and even cancelled a scheduled phone call. She dismissed our complaints, saying that she felt it was a job well done, despite the fact that she admitted that were several important services that we did not receive
