On 2/14/2022 I gave Impound Comics a money order for $100 to secure a spot to sell at the Comic Verse Sac-Comic Con on 2/27. The money order was in fact cashed on 2/14. I received an email on 2/21 saying the money order bounced and that in order for me to still save my spot I needed to pay another $100 plus $50 to cover the bank fee for the supposed bounced money order. When I contacted ************* regarding this matter they stated that its a bank error or whoever tried to cash the money order tried to cash it twice. They said that sometimes people take a picture with there cell phone of the check to deposit it into there bank then take the physical check to the bank and deposit it which is why causes the check to bounce because it had already been deposited through the phone. Impound Comics stole my $100 and now I am not able to sell at this comic book show because of there our negligence with trying deposit a money order twice. They need to return my $100. ************* agent even told me that the bounced check had nothing to do with me but the bank or the individual who tried cashing the check twice. I want my $100 returned back to me. The number to ************* is ************ to speak to an agent press 1,4,3,0 and they will even tell you how a money can bounce and they will specify it has nothing to do with the purchaser but the payee who cashed it or the banks own error.
