Luminex has not provided me with what I paid for. Had eye exam on 7.13.23. Told my gls would be ready in two weeks. They were ready on 8.10.23. They offered a complimentary pair while I waited for my glasses. In both cases, I provided my own frames.Both glasses are HORRIBLE. I am a Senior Citizen and I depend on my glasses. I can only wear my Contact Lenses comfortably for 4 hrs. There fore I NEED MY GLASSES. The Lenses are protruding from both pairs of glasses. I LOOK RIDICULOUS wearing glasses that looks like this. If my lenses were too strong for the frames, I should have been informed. I WAS NOT. I am not an eye care Professional. The complimentary pair feels like I wearing 10 lbs on my face. The nose pieces are leaving imprints on the side of my nose, they hurt my nose badly, and I experience mild Headaches. I went back to Luminex on 8.12.23 informed **** what was going on with the gls. He made an adjustment. That did not help. I mailed a 2 page on 8.26.23 explaining my issue. Never heard anything. In the meantime I am wearing coke bottle lenses that's weighs heavy on my face. I thought I was paying for thin lenses. These lenses that I have are not the thinnest. A co-worker says her eye Rx is 800 and her lenses are no comparison to mine. I even asked are these the thinnest. I was informed " Yes" That was a lie. Luminex is not Honest. They show you 2 thin sizes. You choose the thinnest one, which is not the thinnest. I am so Disgusted with this company. I should have known there was going to be a problem when my glasses were not ready in 2 weeks as promised. They offered the complimentary pair because I was going on vacation and they informed me the glasses would not be ready.I need my refund to pay to get new glasses or to get the ones I have RIGHT. I have never experienced any thing like this. I am walking around with lenses protruding from the frame. IT IS VERY OBVIOUS. I look crazy. I AM VERY UNHAPPY. PAINFUL to wear the gls daily.Refund to re do.Business response

WRONG BUSINESS. We do not have any patient with this name or have any encounter with her on this date. We also do not have any employee with the name ********* We think she is mistaking us with Lumin Optix Optometry which is closer to where she lives.
