San Diego Appliance Warehouse is a business located at ******************************* in San Diego. I purchased a refrigerator there on Feb. 26th 2022. The reason I bought from them is because they offered same day delivery. I drove down from *********** to San Diego expecting a fridge purchased from ********** to be delivered on that day. On the drive down, I called to confirm delivery a second time. There was a mixup between ********** and their delivery service. They could not deliver on Feb. 26th. I was refunded my money.I found SDAW online and they advertised same day delivery. I paid a total of $1894.92 including delivery and haul away. From what I gather, the business is owned by a father and son. They were both at the business when I purchased the refrigerator for $1894.02. The son actually sold me the refrigerator and was one of two people who delivered the refrigerator. Once unwrapped and in my condo unit, it was clear there was a scratch and dent on the refrigerator door at eye level. The owner stated he would give me a $100 discount. I stated I did not want a discount, I wanted a door without a scratch and dent on the front door. He then stated it was no problem, he would find a replacement door. We agreed that he would contact me when the door was in, I would coordinate with my condo tenant and the door would be installed.A month later, after not hearing from anyone I called SDAW. I spoke to the son and he said the door was not in yet. Six weeks after that I called again and got basically the same response. It was clear my door was not going to be addressed until I could get down to San Diego.On June 13th, 2022 I arrived at the business of San Diego Appliance Warehouse. The son was not in view, the father asked what I wanted and it went downhill from there. These two know how to work the system. The father stood very close to me, I pushed him off and then it became about "battery". I left with no resolution.
