This business repeatedly told me that they would issue a refund, and each time they not only failed to do so, they also failed to maintain communication, always leaving it to me to reach out to them to restart the process. Even though it would have saved me a lot of time, I chose not to do a chargeback because I know this can harm businesses. Unfortunately, while I was repeatedly patient, gracious and trusting, they consistently acted in a disrespectful and untrustworthy manner, and now the deadline for a chargeback has passed. Most recently, they said they would send me a check. This was a month ago and I have not received anything. Furthermore, this is a dance school that uses video of clients for promotional purposes, without the consent of said clients. Using people's likeness for commercial purposes without consent is illegal in **********, but Dance Mission Theater prefers to exclude students who do not want to be filmed, or in some cases to ask them to remove themselves from class during filming, rather than provide them with a private space to take the classes that they are paying for.Business response

We had a hold up while trying to find out whether we should mail the check or leave it for pickup here in the office. At that same time I was preparing for a 16 day vacation and did not return until 8/19/24. I apologize that this issue was not resolved before I left. I will drop the refund check in the mail at the end of the week if I don't hear back from her that she would prefer we keep it here.
