I ordered 20 vida masks. All were too tight fitting and I felt like I couldn't breathe in them. No where did it say N95 or KN 95. I wanted a full refund or ship them back. Unable to do either according to Vida. They said they were shipping 5 replacement masks with adjustable earloops. I still have not received the 5 masks. I've not received an email either stating new order on them.SCAMVida Response

The VIDA website clearly states the mask dimensions through our sizing charts to help customers pick their best fit. Even though the masks you received were as advertised as you mentioned in our CS team, we still offered you a replacement at no additional cost. We sent you an email on August 14th about your replacement and your new order number. Please note that masks are personal use items and therefore we cannot accept them for returns for safety reasons. Also, a refund is only processed for damaged products or those that don't match the product description.Review from Debbie S

The so called KN 95 masks for kids are horrible. I am an adult with a small face and the measurements of the kids mask worked for me. I have been wearing masks daily for 26 months. These are some of the worst Ive tried. They are thin and do not give me the sense that they offer nearly the same protection as a good KN95 or 94. There is a gap under my chin where air and anything else can enter the mask. Additionally, they are rough and scratchy around the edges. I have asked to send them back for a refundVida Response

The VIDA website clearly states the mask dimensions through our sizing charts to help customers pick their best fit. The face size and shape differ from person to person which we understand could still cause some fit issues. They are a scam. The masks are not marked N95 and have no date on them. Their website looks legit, but dont believe the reviews you see there. I wish Id saved myself $80 and bought our family masks elsewhere.Vida Response

This customer did not reach out to us via email/social media channels for assistance other than through their BBB review. We sent an email to the registered email address to explain the legitimacy of our masks and offered further assistance if needed. These masks are absolutely horrible. I bought them, after reading glowing reviews that they were the BEST N95 masks for kids. I bought a bunch of colors for my son and he put one on (after I had to tie the comically humongous earloops so that they would fit his face) and he refused to wear it, after wearing many other kinds of masks for the past year plus without any complaint whatsoever.Ridiculous.I contacted VIDA and asked to please return them and get a refund and, guess what, they can't be returned! It's not safe, you see, to return packages of unopened masks. But, I can donate them. So, they're safe to be donated, but not returned. Nice customer service, folks.I don't know what kids would actually wear these, so I wouldn't even want to donate them. Plus, I'd hate to expose anyone to whatever is actually UNSAFE about an unopened package of masks.I am livid.Vida Response

These are winners for worst masks we have purchased in last two and half years. the customer service is trained to wear you down with incessant emails threatening to close your case if you do not reply within 24 hours. we spent 70$ on 30 masks (no free shipping and they are slow to boot). they arrived and fit so badly we started emailing customer service who sent measurements in mm not inches which is the first clue this is a scam. they are unwearable and so thin and badly made and loose around whole lower face, they cannot be adjusted to fit. after six emails each way back and forth, unable to get refund in spite of only one mask being opened; they refused return i accepted choosing another style thinking that would ensure fit. WRONG these just came and are equally terrible, thin, rough, too loose and cannot be adjusted they are so cheaply made. lost 70$ and lots of my time trying to resolve this. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANYVida Response

We do our utmost to ensure that the VIDA website clearly states the description of each product including the dimensions of the different masks and sizes. While we stand behind the quality, authenticity, and sizing of our masks, we still offered the customer a different mask type replacement at no cost. If there is 0 stars I would give that. Bought 8 masks, that are NOT KN95 like website says. Tried one and it does not fit. For the past few hours been emailing back and forth trying to get refund with no luck. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM VIDA.Vida Response

I purchase the 40 pcs. mask for my child costing around $90 including shipping. I used the sizing guide in the website, unfortunately, it is not accurate. My child complained that it keeps going down with his chin and hurting the back of his ears. When I went back to the website, I can no longer find the exact product page of the item I purchased. I reached out to customer service and they offered a 20% coupon so I can make another purchase (wow!). After several days of back and forth e-mail, I was eventually accused that it is my fault and stated that it is an oversight on my side. They tried to refund around $20 to solve it. Please note that if you dont respond within their specific timeline they will close your case and **** it as solved wheater you agree or not to the resolution. In the end, thats $90 in their pocket and mine in the garbage.Vida Response

I purchased masks from Vida for my daughter. I also purchased from two other websites because I know fit can be variable for different people and we wanted to try a few different types. When I received my 3 purchases I realized that the Vida masks were identical to one of the other brands (Lutema) and after doing some digging found out they are the same company just branded differently. Not only that, but the Vida masks are 3 times the price of the other one despite being exactly the same thing. Neither brand fit, but because of their shady business practices I now have 20 masks I cant use instead of 10, and one batch cost triple the other. We dont have a lot of money. It was a stretch to buy the Vida ones in the first place but they seemed highly recommended. Now I see from looking around that their website reviews are fake, and the reviews elsewhere (like here) are awful. Ive tried getting a refund from them but they only offered a gift card to use on more of their overpriced products, or a measly 25% refund on the masks I bought. So disappointed. I hope this review helps others not fall into the same trap.Vida Response

To clarify, VIDA is an e-commerce platform and we have factories producing our products (on our designs, etc). Our job is to specify the criteria for the best products for our customers and design these products. Then we go out to suppliers who can make these for us - (specifically for VIDA). The *** Listed Kids Mask with KN95 Protection is specifically made for VIDA even if the factory makes other products. Another thing that only VIDA offers is the recycling program. We do our utmost to ensure that the VIDA website clearly states the description of each product including the materials, registration number, and country of origin. These descriptions are subject to occasional change to reflect updated lead times as well as changes in labeling and materials. While we stand behind the quality and pricing of our product, we offered a free replacement so she can try other mask types as she reported a fit issue - meaning we sent the right size as advertised. We ordered a set of children masks from Vida on 1/5/22 as they indicated they were shipping in 1 to 3 business days. After several days we found a product that was a better match from Vida and placed an order for that item (again, ships in 1 to 3 business days per the website and advertisement received). We attempted to cancel our original order but that was not possible as they do not allow cancellations after 1hr from order time. As much as that policy is frustrating as compared to other online suppliers, it's their policy and I agreed to it. Unfortunately the 1 to 3 days was wrong, it did not ship until 1/12, and arrived 1/18. Overall, not the end of the world and not an egregious misstep during a pandemic. Fast forward to now, the order we placed on 1/7 is scheduled to arrive today (2/8), after shipping yesterday. Again, 1 to 3 business days to ship from the original order date of 1/7, and no option to cancel should your items be delayed or any issues that the supplier is at fault for. I contacted Vida regarding frustration. They said the items were delayed due to 'issues with our stocks but that has been since fixed'. They prioritized shipping for those affected, but there was no email indicating a delay or problems with stocks, no option to cancel. In response, they offered 15% off my next Vida purchase. Just so people are aware of what the customer experience will be should anything go wrong. I understand issues with pandemic delays but if you state that an item ships in 1 to 3 business days, and customers purchase based on that, then you need to do a better job of reconciling failures to meet those claims (either allow for canceling, or do not make those claims in the first place).Vida Response

We faced a surge of demand due to the omicron variant spread which has caused the delay. Although we try our best to maintain 100% accuracy with inventory, there are rare occasions where we experience an inventory issue. Even if the order is already on its way to the customer, a full refund was issued the February 10th via their payment method. - VIDA
