I coordinated a holiday fund raising campaign for my employers office staff. The fundraising effort raised $5695 through Fundly. Just prior to the campaign finishing, Stripe (who handles processing and distributing the funds from credit cards for Fundly), put a hold on my campaign claiming it was somehow fraudulent, although i was never provided a reason for this. After being told by Stripe that they would not release the remaining $2724 to me, i contacted Fundly to refund the donations to the contributors that had donated to the campaign and had their donations frozen, thinking that I could then contact those contributors directly for an alternative. However, Fundly (and Stripe) are refusing to either release the funds to me nor refund the donations. Instead, they are being kept by Stripe/Fundly and I am being told repeatedly that they will retain the donations. This seems completely absurd, and honestly criminal. How can they just keep these donations and not AT LEAST refund to the contributors? It has now been over a month and they refuse to assist in fixing the situation. Thank you for your assistance as I have exhausted all other means to remedy. Attached are screenshots of my Fundly and Stripe account showing the donated funds and account info.

I was notified that a fraud fundraiser was used using my photograph. I notified the company and they asked me to send in my picture. I sent my picture, the logo I had on in the picture etc and all that I could. They STILL have allowed whomever to fraudulently collect funds in deception using my identity!

Donated to a fundraiser campaign on Fundly. Their platform had terrible issues and kept crashing. Organizer of fundraiser canceled the fundraiser with fundly. They took the money from the fundraiser but now will NOT refund to the people who donated. Theyre basically stealing people money. I and the fundraiser organizers have contacted them and they keep coming up with excuses. Thieves!!! Just want money refunded to my credit card

I started a fundraiser for an art project on Fundly around Nov. 27th. Fundly made me sign up for an account with Stripe to facilitate the transfer of funds. I gave Stripe a picture of my drivers' license, bank account information, etc.. On Nov. 29th, my grandmother donated $55 to the fundraiser. In response to the donation, Stripe accused me of fraudulent activity, which was very upsetting and concerning to me. I tried to fix their mistake by filling out a form, but they had no options for individual users, which doesn't make sense because Fundly actively advertises to both individuals and organizations. I tried contacting them about this but they would never give me a straight answer, and in the end it was clear they were really just doing this to bully someone. I pointed out the discrepancy between their policies and Fundly, pointing out that there are some Fundly users who need their fundraisers for crises, and there was no answer. I contacted Fundly about this discrepancy, they just looped me back to Stripe who never got in contact with me again. Please contact both parties about this. I don't really care about my fundraiser -- I just moved it over to GoFundMe, so whatever -- but these organizations could really hurt individuals who need these fundraisers to get through emergencies. From what I understand by their responses, both Fundly and Stripe are more than willing to hurt these kinds of people.
