I used Ticket fairy to sell tickets for an event (Event ID ****** with DJs called ELEV8 Plan B which was on October 6th. The event generated $7760.00. I had setup my bank account and routing number on the even for them to payout the funds to me. Which they say the do up to 14 days after the event. As of today it is almost 60 days since my event and I have not received my payout. I have opened a ticket with support Since October 21, 2023 and have followed up numerous time but The say they are following up with the payout team and have no answer. Im writing this complaint to ask for help obtaining a refund for a music festival that never took place. This festival was called El ***** Festival and was supposed to take place in ********, ***************, ******. The organizers (Living Fellow) and the ticket distributor (The Ticket Fairy) are both based in the **, which is why Im making my complaint with the BBB. I bought my ticket for ****** USD on 2022-05-30 (see documentation page 3). In the days leading up to the festival, the organizers did not publicize that there were any issues with the event. The day of the festival (2022-09-03), the gates of the event were never opened, and there was no contact at all from the organizers inside. There was a police car in the entrance blocking access to the event arguing that they did not have the sufficient permits (page 5 of documentation). Logistics inside the venue seemed insufficient for an event of the planned magnitude, with only a few food and drink tents put up besides the main concert stage. I waited there for more than 3 hours after the supposed event start, and then abandoned the venue. The event never took place. The event organizers published on Instagram a justification of the event postponement a day after the festival, on 2022-09-04 (page 6 of documentation). Less than a week later (2022-09-09), the organizers sent an email informing that the event had been postponed, not cancelled (page 7 of documentation). On 2022-09-30, the organizers sent another email announcing the new event date (2023-05-27), explaining that new details would be made available later (page 9 of documentation). Further details were never made available, and a couple of days ago (on 2023-05-26) the organizers sent another email announcing a second event postponement and further rescheduling (page 10 of documentation).
