      Hello ,

We have recieved **************************** request for a refund of which we did address with him and are processing. With out violating HIPPA laws I can not go into any details of this complex case. I am more then happy to resolve the fee's and to make an adjustment no problem, however he never expressed he did not understand, nor did he ask for more information such as a statment of account or to speak with the general manager.  In addition ,any and all fee's are given back to the patient as a discount if they resume the treatment at a later date. Please advise the patient to call the General Manager to go over his account. We value him as a patient and in no way are we tring to be unfair. We have a business and we charge fee's at each vist for all patients, especially if prosthodontic lab work is ordered with the dental labratory. I am more then happy to go over all the information with him for the best resolution for all involved.

      Thank you,

      ******************************* ,MBA

March 23, 2022 I went into the office in ******** for a consultation. The consultation lasted approximately 2 hours. I watch videos and ************ for approximately 30 minutes and then talked with their office person who was *********** ******** and ************** about my situation. She listened and talked about how she understood what was going on and I just kept asking, when can I see the doctor and how much is this going to cost. The patient education consultant *** ********* then joined me and the other lady (I don't remember her name but she said she was from **********) in the room to let me know that the dentist would be in soon and would go over the findings with me. I was never told that the consultation cost money. I felt extremely pressured to stay and wait and then apply for credit, although the cost had not yet been revealed. When Dr. ******** ******* came into the office she reviewed my ****** and told me that I would need a replacement for all of my teeth on top, and she recommended an "upper ******** **** ************** She revealed that the cost would be *********** I was floored when the cost was revealed and let them know that I did not have that much money available for the procedure. *** then suggested financing, which she said wouldn't hurt to try to get some of the procedure on credit. I was approved for ******* from Care Credit and ****** from ************, we discussed options of paying partial cash and ********** partial personal credit card. I am not sure why I needed to provide them with $********, but I paid with my debit card. They kept calling me to reschedule another consultation. I rescheduled a couple of times because I did not want to take on additional debt. During this other meeting, I told them I wanted to transfer the proceeds to the ********* office and shared concerns about the ability to move forward with the procedure with an extremely high A1C. With my diabetes not controlled, I am not a viable candidate.

It has been over a year and the issue was resolved long ago. The patient was refunded with no problem.

      Thank you
