I placed my order @ 4:06pm online. I went to pick up the order for the restaurant and the restaurant did not have my order but MENUSTAR charged my card and took my money. Both myself and the restaurant immediately called them and they said they would be doing a refund it would take 1-2 business days.. that was over a week ago. I had to pay for my order twice.Initial Complaint

10/12/24 Ordered online from what appeared to be my local ******************* via menu star. Paid online, $112, and when air arrived for my order I was informed they dont have online ordering. Menustar stole $112 from me.Initial Complaint

I ordered food online and it took my money and when I got to the restaurant it told me that the restaurant had canceled and that it would take me days to get my refund. I ordered on to the Business El Real Mexicano . I did it online because I just had knee surgery or I would have drove and ordered. When there they said they dont know what MENUSTAR IS, they never received an order online Its basically a scam and now someone has my bank card. Very irritatingInitial Complaint

We ordered food from the ****************** on their website. I called the restaurant to see if they had my order because I got a text right after I mailed my card . I uploaded proof. Right after that MasterCard closes my account because that transaction was fraudulent. I should b asking for more than that it took me a month to get a new card and I'm behind on bills because of the waitInitial Complaint

We ordered today 1/1/2024 from a restaurant called ********************************** in ***** **. We paid online through Me u **** and when we showed up to pick up the food the manager said he had no idea what we were talking about and does not receive orders through this platform apparently. I want a refund of my money from Menu Star. Tried calling their customer service number and got an answering machine basically. The screenshot contains the Menu Star confirmation number. And we confirmed the address and phone number was the place that should have received the order and did not.Initial Complaint

We placed an online order with a local restaurant on Thursday, July 6, 2023. The restaurant uses Menustar service for their online orders. The order was charged to our credit card. We got a confirmation number and a time that the order would be ready. My son went to pick up the food. When he arrived at the restaurant there was a sign on the door that the restaurant was closed for the week for the July 4th holiday. I tried to cancel the charge online but there was no way to cancel. There was not a number to call Menustar and of course no one was at the restaurant to answer the phone. I submitted a dispute with our credit card company for the charge. They said that they would investigate and get back to us. They didnt get back to us until the end of July and then a final answer at the beginning of August. They stated that Menustar told them that we did receive the food so our credit card company let the charge go through and paid Menustar. My husband went to the restaurant to talk to them. They said that we should not have been charged as they were closed that week. They said they would contact Menustar to tell them and that was all they could do. Menustar. contacted my husband by email and said that we would get a refund within 3-5 days. This was August 12. As of August 27 we had not received our refund. My husband contacted Menustar again on August 31. They are now saying that the transaction has already been disputed and that they would wait for the dispute from the bank. The bank already did this at the beginning of August and Menustar told them that we did receive the food when we did not. Even the restaurant has told them that we did not receive food because they were not open. We will never place an order with any place that uses this service again!Initial Complaint

I googled *********************** in ********, **. A website for them with the option to place online order thru MenuStar for pick up at the restaurant. I ordered through the site and went to the restaurant to pick it up. The manager told my husband that the order was ready but had not been paid for. I sent him my order confirmation which showed i included my credit card number at time of order. Manager said they have no association with MenuStar, dont know how the website was created or by whom, and that they didnt receive the payment. He said that the prices listed on my order confirmation are incorrect, and instead of $45.59 for the food + $2.50 online fee and $4.00 tip ($52.09 total) we were charged $63.29 as a take out order (no tip or online order fee), which is $17.70 HIGHER than the posted prices. I would not have ordered there for that much higher. I want to be refunded the original online order amount plus the additional $17.70 that we were charged. **********************************Initial Complaint

the restaurant contacted me and said they were contacting the website to give me a refund immediately because the website prices are wrong, i was charged at the restaurant $45.00 for my food, they assured me that my refund would be issued immediately and instead it was completed and settled
