On ********* ************************** charged out 4 credit card charges for the Military Classes here at our facility. On ******* ***** *** XXXX - XX days later, we were notified, by email on Sunday morning that Merchant Services had put a hold on our funds. The funds were *********** 1st of all, why did it take 11 days to let us know that? Then I called Merchant Services to find out when would be released and what was the purpose of the hold. No one could tell me when or what was going on with our funds. We are a very small family owned business and having ********* of our money tied up for who know what reason is a huge problem. 2nd since we were not informed the money was being held, I wrote out checks to pay bills and performed payroll against the *********** We only had ***** above that amount in our entire account. Even after I explained to numerous people what a determent this would cause, not one employee proceeded to assist or give me any information on when the funds would be released. My bank told me that just today, 04/12/22 they see the funds coming into our account. I would like the 3% the credit card company charges refunded to me in full.********** I believe that Merchant Services blocked access to our funds without good cause creating a huge amount of banking issues/charges. We will not longer do any business with Merchant Services after this fiasco they put us through for the last 13 days. We did not establish a credit card connection for a company to hold onto our funds after charging them. This was unwarranted. We have done several transactions with the exact same customer, credit card #, and invoice amounts. There was no reason to flag this transaction. It is a ************************ and the funds are pre-approved before the Credit Card transactions are performed. They are guaranteed to be immediately available. Unless your credit card puts an unnecessary hold on it. We do not pay Merchant Services to hold our money. They did not perform.
