This happened February 2023 The office staff was always nice to us. Until we moved to Florida. I asked in office if I could get the remaining money in which we paid for treatment in full because we were moving out of state. They stated that they will switch over the whole account including the money once we found an orthodontist in Florida. So I dropped it until this month when I found an ortho here in Florida. My daughter has had to have two phases with her ortho and she has completed phase one which was April 30, 2019 through November 2019 from what I can see in the paperwork. So that is seven months out of the 36 months her plan has called for. I paid $7172! $2787 is all I have received And they’ve stated that 60% of the treatment has been done. I’ve contacted this company three times by email and asked for communication to be done through writing which they have ignored all emails for over a week. They refuse to email me me back as to why 60% of the treatment is stated when only seven months of the 36 months has been completed , and where is the rest of the money because from my understanding this does not calculate. They will not further communicate with me to help me understand if someone would like to get in touch with me. At this point that would be great. You have my email.

      Hi J******,

I didn't know BBB needs me to respond in their format. We spoke on 3-1-23 and below is a copy of email sent 3-1-23. I tried to add all the Pano xrays, but this site capped out at 4. These are the same ones I emailed you. I sincerely appreciate our conversation and the respectful demeanor you've displayed throughout.

      Copied Email:

      Hi J******,
Sorry, this took a while for me to get back to you over email. I will explain this as best as possible and also give you a call to help explain over the phone and answer any more of your questions.
The treatment plan was to minimize time needed for 2nd round of braces by guiding necessary growth. Amberelle's Phase 1 was more complex to help save her from future surgical exposures.  We were most worried about her upper canines, because without a Phase 1 treatment they would definitely need an expensive surgery to have them exposed and guided out with even longer treatment. Our treatment plan was to make room for all necessary teeth and guide them in place so minimal phase 2 time is needed. We planned for 36 months of treatment and we spent 2/3rds of that time in Phase 1 so we could be set for a short phase 2.
Amberelle's Phase 1 included time in braces, records, necessary referrals, xrays after 1st round of braces, and growth & guidance checks after braces to continue monitoring and planning necessary extractions.
Phase 2 is likely to be 12 months or less with no need for BLR's.
Hopefully this gives better explanation for why our first round of treatment for Amberelle cost so much more than our 2nd. I have attached the pano xrays to show what kind of planning took place before we could have an easy phase 2. Number 1 (2019) was the beginning of treatment and Number 5 (2022) was the last xray we took when we gave our last referral for the extraction of her last baby tooth.

      Thanks,
