I sent $500 deposit by credit card in Feb 2024 and another $3200 by wire to Pride Truck Sales to purchase a Semi Truck with their company. It did take ** weeks to go to the ** location where the truck was located due to alot of rain. Once, we got to the truck it was trashed. I have supporting photos. For a week I spoke with the salesman on making the repairs and couldn't come to any agreement. On March 25th I requested to have my money returned. It is now going on 3 weeks, and nothing has been returned to my credit card or bank account where the $3200 was wired from. I have called twice this week to advise the salesman it's been 3 week and still refund. He keeps stating he sent a request to the office. I would like to get this resolve and the company is not given me any solid information. Along, with I can't get anyone from the accounting office to call me and the salesman will not release the information.Business response

On 4/22/22 I purchased a commercial truck from Pride Sales aka ********************* LP. After about a year I began to request an updated statement and payoff amount for my lease. I later received what ************* called an amortization but looks more like a simple ****** spread labeled Cash Flow and only detailing payment number, date, amount and amount applied to principal. The problem arose when I noticed that the amount applied to the principal was about 20% less than total payment.Example:Event. Date. Payment. Principal 1. 4/22/22. $4848.00 $3010.52 When I noticed that there was an significant difference between the amount paid and applied to the principal I asked the representative where was the other portion of my payment going, I was told to contact the person who sold me the truck. I asked several times was it interest and two different representatives never confirmed or denied it went towards interest. I asked if it was indeed interest what is my interest rate because it is not in my contract. A whole year and several representatives later no one has been able to tell me if I have an interest rate, and if so what is the rate and where did I agree to that rate in the contract. I know legally under the **** act the lender must disclose: Borrowing Cost, Finance Charges, Amount Financed with principal and interest. After thoroughly looking through my contract ***** failed to openly disclose those terms with me. Instead I found out after asking for a payoff amount. No where on my contract does it say that I agree to pay 18% interest or that I was aware of the specific interest charge. I was told they notified me of interest by telling me how many payments I have and I should have did the math on the spot before signing. That is deceptive and unethical business practice.Business response

Dear BBB:I write to you on behalf of Pride Trucks Sales in regards to the attached letter regarding Complaint ID *********.First and foremost, Pride Truck Sales denies that it is also known as ********************* LP. Pride Truck Sales and ************* are separate entities and do not operate as one and the same. Due to insufficient information provided by the Complainant, Pride Truck Sales is not able to confirm or deny whether it did in fact sell a commercial vehicle to the Complainant. However, Pride Truck Sales confirms that it at no material time leased any commercial vehicle to the Complainant. Pride Truck Sales does not lease vehicles. Further, Pride Truck Sales denies providing any alleged amortization statement, and further denies that it failed to disclose any information that it was obligated to disclose to the Complainant.Based on the foregoing, Pride Truck Sales kindly requests that the BBB dismiss this complaint in favour of the Respondent, with prejudice to the Complainants ability to reopen the matter, as this matter clearly does not involve Pride Truck Sales.Regards,*******************************Director of Legal OperationsPride Truck Sales*****************************************************************************; L5T 2N5Tel: ************ | Fax: ************Initial Complaint

I bought a 2022 kenwoth t680 with ******* miles and was told that the truck comes with ******* miles factory warranty.I was asked by my sales person named ************************* to sign the paperwork and have it notarized. Before I had it notarized I noticed that the truck didnt have any warranty information and I contacted the sales person ******** and told him my concern and so he replied that the truck has upto ******* miles warranty its just not been updated yet and for me not to be worried about it and sign the paperwork and have it notarized.3 weeks later I had couple of lights on the dashboard and so I took it to the kenwoth dealership and had them check what was wrong with the truck and is my warranty is going to cover it.That when I found out that my factory warranty is about to expire end of this year .I contacted ******** from the dealership told him what I was told and he said hes going to call me back and have the issue resolved. Its been over 3 months now and Jitendra is not answering my calls.Ive been trying to have this issue resolved Ive spoke to one of the managers named *********************** he even told me that I have up to ******* miles warranty on the truck and he is going to have Jitendra call me back shortly and have it resolved. But now none of them are answering my calls or calling me back.Ive been calling Pride Truck Sales daily 2-3times and all I get told is that someone is going to call me back.So in the third month I requested to speak to the main manager named **************** told her my situation she told me to email her all my issues and concerns and she was going to have it resolved for me and not to worried about it. So I called to see whats the status of my warranty for my Truck and now shes not even answering.Business response

We have resolved this matter with our customer. He was told incorrect information by the Kenworth Dealer about his warranty. I was able to get confirmation from a local Kenworth Dealer that his warranty is in fact what we told him it was & sent him copies so that he can show his local Kenworth Dealer.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:I contacted the kenwoth warranty department and they told me that I just have up to 250k miles warranty on the engine and 500k miles warranty on the transmission.
